Fox Network And Its History....

Fox News Network has a long standing record of Biased news casting. They do not seem to hire individuals because of their Integrity or skill as a journalist. Fox has long been the more sensationalist of the News Networks. Considering things like ethics, objectivity, knowledgeability and integrity to be secondary.

Conservatives Hate Fox because they show too liberal a view point on certain events. Liberals hate Fox because they go out of their way to attack the people making the news... especially GLBT individuals.

The Fox Network is only second to the televangelists in the frenzy which they attack GLBT and other nonconservative individuals. And what is worse is their use of 'pretty'/ 'handsome' individuals who are barely informed and probably never went to a news location without an entourage of 50 people to sit up in someplace where only young people flock to... Like spring breaks.

Their 'experts' rarely look old enough to be out of college for more than a 5 years. And are rarely more informed especially on the subjects on which they are supposed to be expert in... and most times almost as pretty as the hosts.

An Anthropologist to answer a question about being Trans? just because he's a Doctor? If that doesn't scream we put him on because he's a pretty black man... What does?

Seconded.

if anyone didnt know before.. FOX is NOT the place to go for credible news coverage. ANY other station is better for that. Fox is ONLY good for controversial television entertainment. Sadly, this includes any NEWS broadcasts they make and try to pass off as informative.

It's good for some laughs I find it. I enjoy watching the Daily Show and the Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Loved how one of the Fox News reporters, Geraldo Rivera, took on the show saying how they only enjoy showing old ladies falling and at the end of the Daily Show on Tuesday they showed him fall. Seriously though, Fox News needs to look into getting some ethics if they ever want to be more than a joke.

Oh but

. :)

(Also look at the pages at 1:37, they're blank! XD)

And of course you've got to : "magine a poor kid getting born into that family" - Bill O' Reilly on the pregnant Man and his family.

And what with the epic lulz about America's next top model. Even more humourous is the fact that the guy on the right is gay.

I disagree with all of you, faux is clearly a credible news source. For shame, without them we wouldn't know of the transgender evil creeping into our society and availing of our freedom of speech or right to procreate.

I don't think Fox is that bad. On most issues I think O'Reilly is right on. And while it is more conservative than most other stations, there are a few liberals there, so it does have some balance.

I am tentatively inclined to agree with you. Earlier in the decade, I watched Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susterin almost every weeknight. However, I truly could not stand Hannity and Colmbs because Sean Hannity seems to be fixated on hatred of just about everyone.

Any more, I ignore all of the news channels, and I have noticed that I feel far calmer inside. Besides, I don't need Cnn and Fox News (not to mention ABC, CBS and NBC) since the Internet makes it possible for me to selectively filter the news articles I do look up.

I have a huge dislike for Fox, particularly Ann Coulter. She's not very Canadian friendly.

That said, if I have to get news, I look at a variety of sources: BBC, CBC, NyTimes, CNN, NPR, etc. I have a whole world to search for news and look beyond the borders of where I am. More importantly, I'll read the news and form my *OWN* opinion than be spoon fed someone else's and be told that's the opinion to have.

I agree, Linus.....

I don't know what I'd do without the internet........

Most days I'll go to:

CNN

FOX

BBC

ABC

Al Jazera

Radio Isreal

PBS

I mean, seriously...you have to look at a news item from ALL points of view!

Like General George Patton said during a tank battle with the Germans.....

"Rommel, you magnificent bast***, I read your book!!"

If you get your news from only one source...you've handicapped yourself.....

Look at it from all viewpoints and then YOU DECIDE!!!

Now, I have to go read The Icelandic News...........

'Bye!!!

I find that since William Randolph Hearst 'yellow journalism' has become the norm. If you are too young to remember, that was the term for biased journalism, up until then the norm was to work very hard to present the news in an almost disconected objective fashion. If you want to get a little insight into his life watch the brilliant movie "Citizen Kane" (nominated for an Oscar in almost every catagory - fewer catagories then it no longer holds the record for most), the writing, directing and acting by Orson Welles (26 years old) is fantastic, he brought the radio actors from the Mercury Theater of the Air including Joeseph Cotton and Agnes Moorehead, inovative cinematography that is still being used today and the most important part was being able to avoid getting sued - the major changes, Kane died at the end of the film made in 1941 and Hearst didn't die until 1951 and the hearst mansion in California called San Simeon was set in Florida and called Zanadu.

Here's to the fine tradition of Yellow Journalism, practiced by all!

That's why I watch the Daily Show, at least Jon Stewart admits that he is giving us 'Fake News'!

Love ya,

Sally

Rose Bud! Truly a great movie. Sorry for the lousy ending of Orson Wells life, selling California Wine.

News every where is biased. Sean Hannity gets my blood boiling , but he incessant Bush bashing by Keith Oberman almost makes me feel sorry for the 43rd worst President of the United States.....almost.

Read the Goggle news home page, has leads into the Wall St. Journal, the NYT. Reuters, BBC and a ton more.

Plus there are no commercial breaks that last for six mins. with two mins. of news.

have to confess I love Chris Matthews, he tolerates no fools.

His ever youthful appearance is amazing! FFS possibilities...Mia.

I have found some people correlate TG = child predator ... just as some have correlated homosexual = child predator...    I am baffled by the TG = unsafe connection ... my wife tends to think this way, that this is all about sexual deviancy ... I try to ask how my preference for wearing frilly socks with embroidered flowers and a comfortable camisole under my lavender T-shirts is sexually deviant (or sexual anything) but I don't get very far...

Not sure.  The perp is a minor.  The problem here is NOT transgender, the problem here is incompetent and criminal administration.  See https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/family-of-loudoun-co-student-sexually-assaulted-ineptitude-of-all-involved-is-staggering/3231725/ It is more than annoying that people think the problem here is TG and that other people think the solution is some stupid statewide law.  Like an appendectomy to deal with an ingrown toe nail.    Since Loudon, I recall a boy was asked not to use the girl's restroom at a high school by one of the girls.  He, overwhelming her with height and weight,  assaulted her, claiming he had a right to be there.   Later I think eight girls beat him severely in another girl's restroom.  Again the problem is not transgender, the problem is assaults in restrooms and common courtesy.  TG is used as a smokescreen and it seems to paralyze thought among administrators who do not want to do anything to provoke controversy.

Time to get with your Primary Care doctor and be referred to a neurologist or an orthopedist.  It could be many things, too many for any of us here to guess at.

Other than the Boy Scout motto, oath, and law. I use two:   When asked how I'm doing? In all honesty I reply. I would have to make something up to complain. If asked to explain further: I reply. I know someone is having a tougher time than I am, and I pray God blesses them.   I also recite this quote that I have tagged in my signature: Courage, doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."-Unknown    Saying these things daily keep me motivated.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

If this goes on, I am conceding the real possibility of being stopped in WM or somewhere by a concerned citizen who tells me, "Lady, God made you female.  I don't think you should be trying to look like a man. You need to return to your true gender and be comfortable living your life out as a woman."   Begin odd and awkward conversation.  I have been thinking about this this morning.

There are many MAGA GOP types who are not transphobes, of course. Some MAGA GOP types are transgender.

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either
