Cosmetics online, where to shop?

Having gotten clothing sizes down pretty well, I'm comfortable shopping online for apparel. I also have a pretty good idea of do's and don'ts for my makeup issues. I'm totally ok with the products in the drug stores such as Revlon, Almay, Cover Girl, L'Oreal etc. I'd prefer shopping on line but I have difficulty finding easily navigable sites where the full color option spectrum is available like in Walgreens stores etc. Some manufacturers list the total product line including all the colors and shades but they don't sell retail.

So...What are your favorite sites, both price wise and options wise, and ease of navigation...

Thank You!!!

When I wore them once upon a time I would find what suited me best in a department store of where there were trial samples available and order on ebay from REPUTABLE sellers (always read feedback & look at scores. A bargain is no bargain if you don't get it or get a fake) and save between 50% & 80% even with shipping.

My very favorite for coverage-and I get a butterfly shaped rash like thing across my face from Lupus that required coverage sometimes-and appearance are the minerals. The bare minerals I found best after trying several. Quality does vary and it is worth spending a little extra to get the real thing. They even have sample kits you can play with so you know what works for you. They seem expensive compared to regular makeup but when you factor in how long they last and that they never get old and cake or anything they are really less expensive in the long run to me.

Another factor is that they allow you to play with contouring your face so if the chin or brow is a little to prominent you can really hide it while emphasizing something like beautiful eyes.

Anyway that's what I always did. For mascara and liner though I just bought locally. Not enough savings to justify mailing.

BTW eBay is also a great place to buy lots of perfume samples and figure out what works for you or what you like.

Happy shopping

Johnny
