Hi, being a crossdresser I love to watch transsexual movies, some of the girls are very beautiful and feminine.I know its

entertainment and not for all to watch. My question is most girls have very feminine bodies yet can still perform. I

thought hormones decreased the male desire.

Hi Kimberly,

I think there is a lot of variation in the human race, and nobody can be classified into some little cubby hole because of some opinion of a doctor. I take massive amounts of Vitamin C when I feel the very beginnings of a cold coming on. Studies have shown that for the majority of test subjects, it doesn't work, but they haven't proven it doesn't work at all. It works for me, but I'm only one.

Secondly, let's face it, you're watching movies where people are paid to act a certain way. And dress a certain way. And look a certain way. One has to be very careful when watching movies, not to let too much 'gee, that looks normal' intrude. It's all fiction, it's all make believe, it's all to tickle our imagination.

Two stories. I used to belong to a community theater group. We did a play 'Night of January 16th' which required a pseudo-courtroom. Our stage crew built a beautiful looking judge's bench. So real that when our local courthouse was going through renovations, they asked if they could borrow ours temporarily. It was just a set. From the back, it was junk, but from the audience....it looked 'real'.

Next, I'm watching a movie called 'Flipped'. It was filmed within 20 miles of where I live. It was made to take place in 1963. A 7th grade boy complains to his grandfather that a girl across the street is 'stalking' him. Sorry. But in 1963 (I was in high school), nobody, and I mean nobody ever used the word 'stalking' in that regard. And she wasn't stalking him, she had a crush on him. Nobody every confused the two. Stalking today means something very sinister. Audiences watching today are getting the wrong message from that interaction. But it's just a movie. Not real. Just imaginary. The rest of it, though, looks real enough that people may come away with a wrong idea.

So we have to be careful looking at movies and somehow thinking these people we are seeing are representative of some kind of normalacy that we're trying to achieve. We are just setting ourselves up for disappointment, because it just isn't real. But it's fun to watch! Isn't it?

Chloe, that's sound advice, just as a matter of interest I do something similar when I feel a cold coming on. I take the juice of a lemon each day and put hot water to it and a spoon of honey and drink that each day for about three days and it works for me.

******** TMI WARNING!!! ********

um ... My hormones have been well within the female range for 5mo and I can still 'perform'. I experience far less involuntary 'stress' but sometimes I do need to make sure my tuck is readjusted. Hormones reduce the 'male desire', but I definitely feel aroused (though the unwelcome parasite doesn't always respond) at times, mostly through emotional connection and stories. But YMMV.

I am still a bit jumpy so I will add I carry weapons with me everywhere, am trained in their efficient and effective use, and have many large, strong, well trained friends who care for my well being and keep close tabs on me.

um ... so anyway. Now that I have threatened those who would try to find me... I should go. I hope that helped some.

Well....what happens to us Trans women is similar, yet not all the same......

Most on HRT lose the functionality of their penis......

Most on HRT lose their libido.....

Most on HRT see their penis and testicles shrink in size with continued HRT use...

Please don't write me and say "Mine still works..."

Most don't care!

I should point out that this site doesn't cater to most trans individuals, but all of them. I think we should have an environment where girls who want to maintain the function of their male parts, and conversely men who would like to maintain their female parts and function should be allowed their voice. If there are individuals out there who work in the sex trade of any sort then they should be able to seek support here without feeling marginalized in any way. They are already in an industry which grossly objectifies and degrades them, eroding their self-esteem. For many such individuals this is their last bastion of sanity. Many people who enter such work don't realize the mental strain such work puts on them.

I have several gender-queer friends who would fit into the 'some but not all' change category, both Mt? and Ft?. There are certain changes they desire but others they do not. Knowing exactly what changes come with HRT is very important to them.

That being said I in NO WAY want to know ANYTHING about your genitals. Seriously.

HI Ya"ll

When I have a question I hope I'll allways be able to come here and ask it. Everyone here at Laura's has been a friend when I need one, and hopefully I have been a friend to someone here when they have needed one.

No matter the issue.

I haven't looked at this topic until today since I don't care too much about adult movies; however, having looked------------->i thought the inquiry and

follow up was tactful. I seem to recall a few posts on fantasies and "appliances" that were more, shall we say, pushing the envelope?

I have looked at TS adult films to see what intimacy pre-op might be like. I didn't care for them at all and since then haven't watched anything of that nature, nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't my style.

That said, I agree with Miss-Construe that those who might be interested in maintaing the functionality of the given gentials should be able to ask questions freely and not be told they're less TS or less of a woman, or man for that fact, and should be made to feel welcomed and comfortable asking such things here. Keeping it on a G level is a must still, of course.

Questions like this have been a problem in the past here as people tend to reply rudely. Allow me to offer some heartfelt advice I always try to follow before I post a topic or reply. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY PLEASE DON'T SAY/POST ANYTHING. I will admit I am not perfect either and I may reply to rudeness in kind once in a great while, belittling should never be tolerated here.

This topic in general hits a sore spot with me. The idea of intimacy pre-op generally scares and confuses me. However, I know that SRS is going to be a loooooong way off for me, if ever. I have other priorities regarding passing that will come first for me, and while I want complete feminization from my HRT, as long as I am pre-op I would still like things to work.

*sighs* Wasn't quite finished, thanks phone.

I too have wondered about the women in those films. While most seemed to me uncomfortable and embarassed, I wonder if they have to do anything special to keep things functioning. I guess the only way to know would be to ask someone who might know, someone who might be here at Lauras.

Good news is that I have nothing serious going on. The blood was coming from internal hemorrhoids, and the doctor says it's from the "typical American diet." Too much fat and carbs but not enough plant based fiber. A few other things were noted and biopsies on them for safety sake.    Hospital visit was grand with "most" of the staff addressing me as female. I did have "bra talk" with one of the CNA's. Even my discharged papers use my preferred name on them (Birdie).   So basically, adding more fiber to my diet will eliminate my internal hemorrhoids as well as lower my risk for cancer.

For that part, be glad you live in MS and not in CA or some other "paradise."    Unfortunately, right now in the USA it is about choices.  Choose to live in a mostly free state that doesn't want my gender to exist, or choose to live in a leftist place that accepts my gender but not my family or my faith, or how I want to live my life or the stuff I own.   As for the lawsuits... hiring a lawyer costs money.  And a "no fees unless you win" attorney probably won't take a case like this, as it is difficult to get money from folks who often don't have anything.  As they say, "it is hard to get blood from a turnip."

There's a couple of things.  First, since so many LGBTQ+ folks often vote Democrat, it is simply assumed that "LGBTQ = Democrat."  And to many, Democrat = enemy.  The fact that some of us don't vote for Democrats comes as a surprise to many.  You wouldn't believe how many different times I have had to explain how I vote, that I don't like Biden, etc...   And then, there's the flamboyant, over-the-top appearance and behavior of some.  When average folks see strange dress, wild colors, and the occasional provocative behavior in the news, they assume that it is the norm and that all LGBTQ+ folks are like that.  To them, "LGBTQ = weird."    I think that @Abigail Genevieve is right, part of it is lousy marketing.  And that will take a ton of undoing, because it has been going on for years.

Personally, I despise the antics of the "swing" states. Double-minded and unstable, shifting every time the wind blows.  OK, so the Lt Governor of Georgia doesn't like Trump.  Small potatoes.... given the 2020 results, nobody counts on Georgia anyways.

Its midnight here...so, technically morning   I had a really weird evening, and learned something new about politics.  My sister, who is running for public office as our township constable, received a "present" today, left on the hood of her patrol car.  An axe!  Wrapped in a bundle of sticks (dowels?).  The sheriff received one also, and a couple other candidates.  Now, my first thought was it was meant as a threat, and I was freaked out when she told me.  But she wisely identified it as political criticism:   During the 2020 election, a small dissident minority objected to our sheriff, and labeled him "Mussolini."  Apparently the symbol of the F@scist Party came from ancient Rome.  An axe, circled with rods, and the whole bundle was called "fasces" and represented the authority of the state.  Roman officials would have them symbolically carried ahead of them through the city on parade.  Other nations used it too, including the USA.  But since the 1920s, it is mostly associated with a certain political party.  Either I was never taught this in high school, or I didn't notice it.    So, it appears that this election season will have some interesting aspects.  And I have been asked to put gold spray paint on an axe, to make it like a trophy.

Welcome @Vivelacors!  For myself and many others here it is a similar theme.  But, I can assure it's never too late.  I hope that you will discover that as you explore and connect with more of us on the Forum.    You've already taken the most important first step ... Self-Affirmation.  I am wishing you the best in continuing this process. Deep breaths ... One step at a time

I can remember as a teenager being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and living in the bible belt. It was always a little hard-I think religion is just tricky anyway.    I was referred to a couple of ladies at church by my mum who gave me very good advice.  One has known those who are are trans- and how they approched it.    The other has two people in their life who identify differently. They also gave other ideas to assist me.     I do like ideas though.

If I am leaving the house I will almost always do makeup.  Not over-the-top but enough to feminize my face (eye shadow, mascara), lipstick, and a light cover of a concealer and foundation. I found my favorite lipsticks are Maybelline.  But the concealer/foundation I 'discovered' in Neutrogena Hydro Boost - Hyaluronic Acid based.  For 'older' gals like me I find it moisturizes and doesn't dry into those annoying fine lines (I have enough of those already).    Hopefully, after facial hair removal I might not feel the need as much.

I think it just comes down to a lot of people not knowing anything about the lgbtq+ community besides what reactionaries online and on TV say. In my experience, people who have a lot more day-to-day contact with gay and trans people, have lgbtq+ friends or family, coworkers, etc. are a lot more accepting because they know an lgbtq+ person, and know that we aren't anything like what the people on TV say we are.

Actually the bill seems to be so thoroughly confusing that I doubt that enforcement is even possible.  It could however incite vigilante style actions.  A false accusation against a "looks challenged" Cis woman is very likely to happen early on.  So what will happen in the case of those situations?  I have a script in mind over the sad average looking daughter of one of the legislators getting tangled into one of those situations.  I don't know whether it would be a comedy or a tragedy at the minute.
