Thanks everyone for the responses!! I am coming along quite nicely, recovering in my hotel room. My wife and son went home yesterday in the wee hours of the morning and so i have only other Dr. Bowers patients for company. I am happy to say that i feel so much more complete and no longer have dysphoria issues. I really think i will no be on here for much longer as i don't feel "trans" any more rather just another girl. I'd like to move on with lifek now, and feel i'm rathecr done with traansition, as this has been theb only thing that had been holding me back in limbo.

Again, Hugs and thanks to everyone for their support!!

I think 2 days is a bit short too. well actually those are 3, included the day when I will get operated. but I dont count that.

well they said, its enough and I wont need medical care afterwards anymore

Well, Honey.....that is the goal of so many girls.....transition and get on with their lives.....

There are post-op girls that give their opinions of what everyone else should be doing according to their own gains and failures, but, I think that once we get post-op, most everything else is up to us....

I'm sure that you'll experience a happy life......

Go in peace!

Thanks Kairi!!!

So Dr. Bowers had said she had expected to get me about 6.5 inches and could only get about 5.5. Well today I started dilation (with the Blue boy) and it turns out that i'm between 6 to 6.5 inches!! horay!! So uncomfortable though!!

Started with the blue one! Dang, what is with you people?? I'm almost a year out and I'm still using the blue one. I started with purple. You're probably going all the way to orange aren't you? I don't even have an orange, or want one. OWIE!

LOL, I know!!! I was in the hospital and I opened the dilators and my first response was "OMG, that is scary!". Then when I showed them to Lina, my wife, her response was the same thing. So I asked Dr. Bowers about it, saying like why are they so huge!? and she told me that I had a very good amount of space in there and my donor material provided enough for more width so she started me out at a level larger! But i'll tell you, I stick that blue one in me and I don't see how i'm ever going to graduate to the next level! It is TIGHT. I feel like i'm bumping my bones where my legs meets my hips. No idea how its going to stretch with no where to go!! :P

So it's just past two weeks post-srs and I am healing fairly wellish. I have found that I have some separation of the skin at the bottom of the vagina which is quite uncomfortable and I still have those painful zaps of the nerves re-awakening. Today I graduated to the green stent! I had to use the blue as a stepping stone and when I tried to remove the green one I had the scare of my life! It refused to come out!!!! It took quite some time and it was very very slow moving but eventually it backed out!!! What a painful relief. I'm looking forward to being comfortable sitting any where and not feeling blood rushing to my clitoris or it's hood everytime I stand up!

You can never use too much lube.

Also I usually reposition the dilator every 5 minutes or so to prevent just that from happening.

Thanks Leah! That did help. This morning I started with green one by itself and it wasn't easy but it wasn't particularly painful either! I had the same problem then as I did last night, but this afternoon I gave it a bit more rotation and in and out and it helped wonderfully!!! So I am now fully on the green dilator. Next step Agent Orange!!! The monster!!

Don't worry, I had separation at the back too. Sucks but it heals.

It really freaks me out though!! Robin told me to try to avoid putting pressure on that spot, but I don't know what actions are putting the pressure on it in the first place.

Lately i'm feeling more throbbing down by my clit and I'm still feeling slight pain and a lot of discomfort when I pee. Did anyone else have that 2.5 weeks after surgery?

Thanks!

yep, all of that. Don't worry. You'll be fine. Are you on antibiotics? You should have a follow up sceduled with your regular doctor just to check on healing every few weeks after surgery. You probably have a minor infection. I had several. Go see your doc.

I have an appointment with my Doctor on Wednesday! I'm actually looking forward to traveling farther than the local Rite Aid, it feels like I've been trapped at home for too long!!!

Guest Little_cherry

hello everyone!

I've had surgery now too :) and Im healing pretty good so far.. I have a separation all the way down my left labia though. it hurts quite a lot :'( I hope this will close in about 3 months or so, or let's say ever close. when I spread my legs the seperation is spreaded too, so Im not sure if this will go together. does anyone have a tip what I could do?

when I dilate it also hurts on the side from the beginning of my vagina. hopefully this wound will heal too cuz I have to dilate 3 times a day.

maybe Im just too scared cuz I've never had a major surgery before (actually none before) but the right labia looks much better than the left one.. does anyone experience the same..?

cherry xx

Been using the wok on the back deck a lot the last few months.  Just got another stock of udon noodles from Amazon and we are using those in the stir fry with onions, peppers and a spicy peanut sauce.  I did this often in the 90's too, but back then I was just using a standard Coleman camp stove instead of this high BTU wok burner.  I've had the burner for a couple years, but haven't been using it regularly until recently.

I’m a lefty. Learned to be a bit ambidextrous for certain tools that assume right handedness like scissors, but couldn’t write with my right hand to save my life.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.

Yeah.  I like Nebula, that was where I watched it.   I posted the YouTube cause I figured more people could see it.

We agree on most of this... and the church/state thing is kind of a tangent anyways. Oops. LOL   I think it has long been established that all different kinds of groups have access to public funds. In my opinion, either everybody has access or nobody does. I would prefer "nobody."   Relying on public funds gives the government the power to take it away, and puts that power in the hands of whatever group controls the government at the moment... the news article that is the topic of this thread shows a clear example of that happening.  Organizations trust government at their peril.

More info on Abigail Thorne here: https://go.nebula.tv/philosophytube and, Dracula's ex-girlfriend, on Philosophy tube.   "The reason why Nebula is so cheap for what it is, is because there's no upper hierarchical group looking yo skim off the top. Imagine how much cheaper EVERYTHING could be if it was like that for every other service or product; if the money went straight to workers, not up a chain of command until it reached someone who did exactly "jack" to produce what's being sold.
