Just came out (properly) to my other housemate

One of my housemates knew about me before we moved in (we have a mutual friend who told her before we went house-hunting together), but my other housemate didn't, officially-speaking. Bit complicated, but she, Girl A, is friends with Girl B. Girl B and I went to high school with another friend, Boy C (the first person I came out to). Boy C was talking to Girl B about me, and one night Girl B and Girl A, my housemate, got drunk and Girl B outed me. The next day, when she realised she'd outed me whilst drunk, she then sent a message to Girl A apologising for telling her, but in so doing confirmed sober what could otherwise have been forgotten or passed over as general inebriation.

The point being, however, that my housemate knew without my actually having told her, and has been great about it (apparently she told Girl B that she didn't want to say anything because it was my thing to tell her when I was ready, or something. Just what Boy C recounted after Girl B told him what had happened). BUT, having her know and be cool with it, and actually telling her myself, are two completely different things.

So I just came out then. Not directly, I'm far too much of a wuss for that; I sent her a message on Facebook. But it's kind of 1:30 am here, and she has healthier sleeping habits than I do, so I have no idea when she'll see the message.

But yes, one more person I'm potentially out to (properly. Her knowing beforehand doesn't really negate the nerves or hours preparing the coming out letter).

So...cyber-cups of tea to pass the time, anyone?

Oh agreed, I live off the stuff. Tea leaves are vegetable matter, and with milk it has dairy too, so what more do you need, really? ^_^

And there are some wonderful people in the world, hm? She just knocked on my door and we had a chat, and she's completely fine with it. We'd seen each other this afternoon and she hadn't said anything, so I thought maybe she hadn't been on Facebook yet, but just then she said she had seen my message, she just didn't know what to say. But yeah, all good, she was very understanding and lovely about it.

So yay, one more important person who knows and is brilliantly accepting. ^_^
