anyone play Dungeons and Dragons? I just had the idea we could play a thread based game. I'd DM but I lost my books, so anybody want to try?

I love D&D. I am a DM as well. I agree that an IM based game might be better as I have had experiance with thread based games and they temd to die out really fast.

Aw sad...Like I said, I've run thread based games before. As long as people are commited then it could work. commitment issues have always been the problem with games I have run in threads before.

Well if it comes down to running an IM game give a shout out. :) I would be happy to join with or with out my magical golden jewel encrusted shovel.

Phshaw, unstopable magical jewel encrusted shovel! Where's your imagination? I once had a Vorpal belt buckle of Purity for one of my Priestess'.

I could definately get into an IM/Forum based game ;) I have always found you need both anyways. Too much info is one way to dmand back for strictly im. Msg me if you all want to throw something together!

Hahaha. Vorpal anything is hilariously fun. :) I think my favorite was my drunken master monk/ sorcerer. His sole purpose was to create and market magical ale and to stick to the brewmasters code. :P

My party used a custom class called an Empath. They could transfer damage from team members to enemy's using a touch attack or focused through a staff. Well they were fighting a blood spider and one of the guys got a crtical miss, so I had the arrow he shoot ricochet three times and hit another guy in the foot. The damage was so high that the empath used it to kill the spider.

That was a lot more long winded than I thought it would be.

Yeah, as they leveled, they could be empathic to more people more often, they could do it ranged, oh and they got bonuses to things like diplomacy and detect intentions.

Thats a very interesting build. It definitely sounds like a lot of fun. :) If you like D&D you should check out a game called Hero System. I love 3.5 to death but I almost exclusively play Hero System because it can incorporate any genre.

Hey everone, I play DnD as well and would love to play and/or run. There is a great website for it but I will have to run it through a mod before I can share it. I wouldnt be able to play IM either because it is hard for me to get on any IM's AND hard to get everyone on at the same time. But everyone can feel differently. Please post here and/or PM me if anyone is interested in playing.

A really good role playing website is RPOL.net. I havent played it for a while but that is more about my not feeling like roleplaying than the site. We could easily set up a game there. It is PbP though, no chat.

Just happened upon this thread - I play D&D online through a telnet program .It's all text-based with a dice-rolling system, grids and so on. It's called Minstrel Hall if anyone wants to look it up. I run an Alice in Wonderland themed campaign (D&D 3.5) :P

Thank you! I really appreciate your comments. You have done quite a lot and I hope it still continues.

Even with the court ruling, the problem is that many of the insurance companies continue to have exclusions for everything unrelated to a vaginoplasty. For folks who are transgender females, we still get no protections to ensure we can get electrolysis (other than for genital preparation prior to vaginoplasty), voice/speech therapy or surgery, facial feminization procedures, or body contouring. There are many components that go along with managing our dysphoria. When the government mandates all of these measures, then I will say it was a victory.   I am still worried that all of the progress will be eradicated if the election goes poorly in November.

I have gotten compliments almost always from women. It feels nice.

I feel like some things are supposed to happen, but not everything is like that. You have those events that are (at least similar to) fate, but what you do from there determines a lot as well

I always picked the female character and was mad when there wasn't a choice.

I came up with a new strategy.  Replace the good 2 year old car we bought used with something that suits me. New or used but has to suit me this time and I’ll hang on to the old ford as long as it starts and runs for going to work when wife needs @ car.  Oh and yes she could drive the ford too, she’s done it many times in the past.  Movable pedals and seat combine to get here where she needs to be.  Now I just have to sell her on that idea.     now starts the search all over again but I can double my top range!

Sup singly, a superintendent prevented a student within the transgender community from changing current name, to the new name in which the student identifies with, I don't know how far back this story goes, but if you Google it under Oklahoma along with "student name change" the article should pop up. I'm not transgender, but I can relate to the process of legally getting a name change done, it's a lot of paperwork from court, a lot of traveling, and expenses depending on the laws from each state.

No one seemed to pay attention to me other than a young woman who complimented me on my skirt and an older gentleman who smiled at me as we passed each other.

Wow, I guess it’s the dat to be in trouble.  I’ve been hit twice by the ASM today and it’s my day off.  Why didn’t you, followed latter with a where is the.  Made me realize that I do t want to continue working long enough to pay for it. I guess I’ll just to have to stick with my 20 year old car for now.   I suppose sooner or later only one of us won’t be able to drive anymore.  Since I am older you might think it would be me but at this time i am the one that does all the driving except when she goes to church or the store when I’m at work.  She hasn’t driven anywhere since February and hasn’t driven more than 10 miles in perhaps a year.  Yet the “good” car was purchased for her not for me because she couldn’t drive the Jeep which we bought strictly for her because she wanted it.  But it turned out I was the one that really liked it.  Can’t win.
