oops I 4got 2 put the pic on srry ^^"" :P LOL! I 4got 2 click upload! Anyways tell me what I need 2 do 2 look more like a girl k? ^^ Thanks!

You look great! :D

I would never guess that you are male!!

I can't really rate completely accurately, though, cause you are kinda obscured in the pic. if you could take one that clearly shows you waist up, i could more honestly rate you (not to say that you wouldn't look like a girl if you were more clear, just I can't be sure)

what age did you start, you know growing your hair and trying (and dare i say it succeeding) in looking like a girl?

Were you talking to me? If so (sry it took so long, my gf finally told me you said something) since 5th-6th grade i have tried as hard as i could to look more feminine (my parents often wouldn't let me. Since 7th grade, I have wanted long hair, but my parents would only let me grow it out a little. since 8th grade I have wanted to paint my nails, and finally when i reached high school in 9th grade, I have been really growing out my hair and have painted my nails most weeks (sadly i must depinkify my nails for church every sunday :(). However, as far as actually considering what looked good on me (instead of just wearing whatever I could get my hands on), I only just started maybe late October? I think?

actually i was talking to treefish but i envy you that you started that early im 13 (14 tomorrow :Dyeah) and i havn't come out yet but i want to, but even thinking about it makes me physicly sick, thats how scared i am, and if u look at my topics i've said my fears and i know that they're probobly irrational but i'm still scared half to death about it. my point is that whomever came out any younger than me, i envy your bravery and courage.

I guess I should eventually make a post. I'm new to posting but not new to the forums. Haven't had like any spare time. I'm pre-op but am making progress in strides and bounds. I guess I should eventually post some story about how everything fell together for me and how I ended it up with a bunch of supportive friends who are ever so helpful. I'll just post three images that display my progress from beginning to end.

(first time out with friends)

I think myself rather fortunate in my predicament though I have like the most intolerant parents. Just a few years left until independence.

I'll try to actually post things and be active here now

Another reason why I get attention from the guys.

(p.s. that necklace broke 2 weeks later and I lost the Tinkerbelle charm. <_< )

Lizzie -- no wonder you get so much attention!

Here's a pic my sister snapped yesterday while we were trying to open presents. It is spectacularly awful, but at least it's current!

Looking good Izzy,

Isn't nice to have such good weather in the first week of January?

Living in Texas has some good points!

Doesn't it feel great to be out in the sunshine and know what it is really like to be yourself! B)

Love ya,

I've been out a few times, two or three, at night. Mostly just for drives. In the last year I've just felt more and more like I'm kind of living in a cage. The only time anymore that I dress in boy mode is for work or when I have to go out during the day. Hour wise, thats actually the smaller part of my life. I still don't think I really pass, and I'm still afraid of people, but I just thought, well, its not going to get any easier any time soon, you know?

But yes, it felt immeasurably, indecribably nice to have the sun on my face. Its silly in a way. I feel the sun on my face almost every day. But this was kind of like the first time. I went to the park and just stood in the nice warm air with the sound of the trees and birds around me and enjoyed it. It was nice.

And as a bonus, I wasn't attacked by angry mobs. Yay for me. : )

Right now I am trying to decide... there is a conference I am going to on the 10th. Its some kind of "transgender workshop" hosted by the united church of Christ. I've read the little invitation pamphlet thing and it sounds ok to me. The church group I recently joined is open to everyone and they wanted to go to this thing and invited me to join them. They even paid my way to get in. I don't think there's anyone in my group that would hassle me or anything if I decided to attend this thing in girl mode. But I'm not sure if I'm ready yet. Everyone knows how I feel, and in theory they are clear on what it means. But "in theory" and "in reality" are two different things. Still, I guess, as these things go, its probably better to transition while surrounded by supportive people than all alone.

Anyway, blah blah blah ::laughs:: Didn't mean to carry on so much. Thanks for the compliments.

wow, I'm amazed and very happy for you girls and also a little jealous. :P

I hope my transition turns out as wonderfully as some of you here. Seeing these pics makes me want to dive right in also, but unfortunately I can't begin right now.

Thanks for sharing because it is very encouraging and inspiring for others who haven't started transitioning but plan to. You've proven that it can be done successfully.

Also it gives you great feedback and affirmation no doubt and its well earned. :)

Sometimes we are faced with situations where the only response possible is grief.  Things will never be as we want them; people die, we lose things we cherish, we do not obtain what we earnestly desire.  I see some of those situations here; there are tools available to help you through the grieving process.  It's not easy.

I would be happy to just have 4 disabilities. I take 27 different medications and it does little. I tried working when I got out of the military but couldn't maintain one. I have a lot of mental disorders myself. It would be neat to learn about each other's background. I do understand just wanting to be normal. My job is a stay-at-home parent which is exactly tougher than a regular job especially being a single parent.

Rich as in happy? Far from it. I'm happy about my kids but I shouldn't put all my happiness on them. I take care of myself and do the best I can. I'm happy and content that I have a house and car but nothing that can't be taken away from me like in an instant. I completely lack motivation and don't even want to do my walks anymore. I can't get a membership somewhere because I have kids that are mostly with me. I put myself out there for hoping something to come up and be good, but it's has always been like getting hit in the back of the head.

Oh I'm wearing a blessed girl t shirt and blue capris. Nothing special today. It was just doing nothing day and feel guilty about it.

Hi, I don't think I have enough posts to PM yet I don't think (I think it's 5?). I'm poor myself since I can't work, but my parents are luckily helping me get surgery covered by insurance since I am still on their insurance and they have flexible spending each year. I live far away from them, halfway across the country, but I'm glad I have their support.   On the day to day... having a disability sucks. I wish I could just work like everyone else and have a normal life, but my mental disorders prevent me from doing most things.   I'm glad someone else understands at least.

It has been 5 months into my transition.Going well in my progress and should of done this when I was 24 years old.Started living and dressing as female. My estrogen levels look great so far.I have a great support system as well from family members,my son and good friends. My son has said I have become a much happier person.Friends,do say that I have my life back which is true.I also have a great boyfriend for support and he has been learning very well about my transition.Plus he is the first guy that has loved and accepted me for I am.Also did his  research first before we started dating. In September,I have my FFS and he will be there for support

Very pretty y'all. 4" heels is the max I can handle and not for long period of time. I don't see how women wear 5" and above. I love my feet. I sure don't want to punish them.

Well just been doing a lot of self reflection and a lot of gender dysphoria that has caused me to break down. The realization has been that I'm a trial period for men and women don't even consider me. It's getting dim. I have put myself out there by force even when I didn't want to. I have one friend but still haven't seen her IRL yet. We talk on Sundays and it's always me that starts it. Another person only talks to me when they want something. It's never been hey how are you doing. It's almost a month to my birthday and it's all just my mom, sister, nephew that are coming. So much for a 40th birthday party. I hate these posts. I want to be optimistic, positive and cheerful but I haven't seen anything go my way. I'm making it by the skin of my teeth. I wished I could just go into a coma for a year or just not wake up.

Sorry I have been absent a lot but I do read your posts though.
    • Ashley0616
@Michelle_S lol it took a year to get that many. It's nice to have a large number but having the thoughts of helping someone far outweigh the number of posts. I have been absent a lot lately. Back at it tomorrow though lol.
    • Ashley0616
I understand. I have the opposite problem. I'm really tall, my feet are size 13, I don't have any curves mostly but I do have breasts so at least I got that but I get stared at. I have tried dating to men I'm just a trial period and none of the women want to date me as a trans woman so I'm just stuck being single. I do have one friend and that's it. I'm right there with you about not being able to work. I haven't been able to come up with the money for any surgeries. I have a wealthy dream and disability IRL. If you want I can chat with you.
