Hello! Just thought i'd say hi!

I figured out i was trans 8 or so months ago, since then everythings gone a bit crazy!! I decided to join up so i can hopefully learn more about myself and chat with others.

I just got back from the psychiatrist, it took them 6 months to give me this appointment, glad im finally being refered on to the gender clinic now! I was worried at first but it all went smoothly. Feels good to be making progress

Well, I hate to say this but where we are certainly, you are probably not going to get that until you talk to actual trans people who have been through what you are going through. The whole system we have over here tends to function (in my opinion) as a kind of process thing. You go along to you appointements and go through the whole NHS system but all you are effectively getting is the nod or otherwise, to go on to the next phase. Only us historically trans people can really count as specialists (again....in my opinion). If you want to chat about stuff then I have no problem,

I hope you had a great Christmas. I certainly did, although I now need more squash sessions to get rid off all those extra pounds I put on during the festivities. In fact I have just organised one 10 minutes ago with a young FtM friend who beat me for the first time last week, bless him. While he is getting stronger, I am getting weaker. Oh well.
