Erm...Hi?

Since I'm new and all, I supposed I should probably stop by, drop a line and introduce myself. Well, sort of new. I've had an account on here for several months. Never took the initiative to make a post. I'm lazy

Anyway, so.....Here I go I guess..??

I'm Lysander (my legal name is Kylie), a 14 year-old FtM. So, I guess you could say I've always known I was "different" from the rest of society, or at least, different in regards to what society expects us to be.

I've grown up this way, scared to say anything to anyone. My Dad was abusive, and my family is as prejudiced as they come (My grandparents are Jehovah's Witnesses. No offense to anyone who is, but UGH). They don't see the world through rainbow colored lenses like I do, I guess.

No one except my cousin knows about my being transgender. And though she lies and says she loves me for who I am and supports me, it's obvious she's not comfortable or accepting of her life-long "sister" turning out to be a "brother".

Anyway, I've been going through a lot recently, so I figured I'd make my presence known..At least to myself anyway

Hi there.

Having been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for the better part of my life (well, more than half of it anyway. Geez, I'm gettin old ), I can understand where you're coming from with that bit. It's certainly not a very accepting religion. My father disowned me because I walked away from it.

I hope you find some comfort here at Lauras, as I did.
