Are you looking for free to play (F2P) like Runescape or Pay to play (P2P)?

If you like the runescape fantasy style genre and F2P I would reccomend Perfect world or Forsaken World. I really like the classes and such in those games. They're pretty well done for F2P games. I think Lord of the rings online is free to play now too.

Great P2P Fantasy styled MMOs would be FFXI or WoW (Though I haven't played WoW myself it must be so popular for some reason).

On the 20th I'm going to be picking up Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you like Sci Fi and want to try a Sci Fi MMO there's EVE online and possibly a couple of older star wars MMOs still around.

There's plenty to choose from and something for everyone really. Google is your friend :)

Happy Hunting!

I prefer Eden Eternal. It's currently exculsive for PC, but it's free to play. You have the portential to switch your class in the game at any given time without any penalty, and you don't have to get your level or skills reset! Only problem is, your classes and your character level up seperately, so try not to wear yourself too thin.

I've heard of Perfect world, but never played it.

I'm more into the fantasy-bordering-on-anime style games. My absolute favorite is Fiesta Online by Outspark. F2P with option to buy extra features.

I will admit to playing Dungeons & Dragons Online. I'm new to it, but it's also F2P, and it looks....freaking awesome so far. Really cool, the graphics aren't too cartoony for those not into that, and the fighting system is pretty neat.

I used to play WOW, but I quit due to GCSEs and the fact that once you hit max level, it is really repetative getting gear and such and i realised that i wasn't playing it for enjoyment any more - i was only playing to get gear. It's an experience, I'll give it that, but not one that I would want to repeat. If you want my advice - don't play anything - concentrate on what really matters and not a waste of time that is worthless once its time to fill in a CV...

I must sound pretty boring, but as long as you are enjoying it, and as long as it doesn't interfere with work, play whatever you want - like airsoft =P.

I played WoW from the Burning Crusade expansion up until just shortly after the Cataclysm expansion came out. It's fun and all but it does get extremely repetative. I despise leveling and that's a major chunk of the game you have to deal with before you can really enjoy other aspects like high-content raiding, good battlegrounds, the arena, a lot of the holiday and special events, and mount farming. You can do a lot of it lower leveled but you'll likely have a hard time finding others to join you unless you've reached the level cap and fit certain stats for their liking. I do miss it from time to time (my biggest want when joining was for Blizzard to add playable Worgen...and they did and I LOVE my Worgen) but I just can't see wasting so much time and money on it anymore. Plus the real life friends I joined to play with are no longer really friends of mine so I lost that social group as well as my guild because of that.

If it were 2004, I'd recommend giving City of Heroes a try since that was actually rather fun for the limited amount of time I got to play it visiting my cousin's in the summer. But the player population quickly died out so it's not really worth looking into anymore. Although I'm sure the Villains expansion added a spark to it for awhile. I much prefer playing villain-esque characters in some instances.

I do really want to get SWTOR - a friend of mine plays and loves it and I love me some Star Wars (Zabrak Sith FTW) so when I can afford it, I'll be getting it (have to clear out WoW to free up the space to install it since it's the SAME SIZE sheesh). I played Jedi Outcast once upon a time and that was fun enough back then so I can only imagine how much more fun TOR is going to be given it's an MMO like WoW so it has familiar aspects I look for and enjoy in an online game as well as the awesome factor of SW. We'll see I guess.

I'm afraid I only play Runescape :P Been a paid member for years, and I doubt that'll change any time soon. I suggest waiting it out for at least another few months, they've got a huuuuge update brewing for the combat system.

Been in Rift since the alpha testing. Love being able to mix and match my souls and make my own classes to play. Looks great, plays smooth and is about to triple in size. 2 entire continents are coming with some other new features. More levels, new souls etc.

If anyone plays or is checking it out, I am Seona on Faeblight, feel free to give a shout to say hi or ask for help/tips/direction. I love to just blow mobs up :)

I've been curious about Rift. Been playing WoW for about 5 years but for the last few months I really just don't care to log on. The less I play, the less people I know who play it. I'm just not thrilled with the Cataclysm addon. At this point I'm content to let my characters sit and wait for the next expansion.

Rift is pretty good. Solid and plays well. Being a year old, it has plenty of room to grow still and they do a great job at adding in new things to do onto a big pile of things already to do.

I like the soul system of class building as i love being able to load up 3 classes and then make a build from them to blow the world up with lol. oh! and i love AoE looting of corpses.

they have Rift lite available for dl, can play to 20 should you wish to check things out no cost

I play wow on malfurion horde and dark spear alliance. I can definitely agree parts of the game can be quite boring. However, I play for the Pvp aspects of it. While some may not be into it, I think it is fast paced, in your face and offers a wide variety of scenarios and strategies. Pm me for my real Id if anyone is interested. Frost Mage and rogue :)

Sup singly, a superintendent prevented a student within the transgender community from changing current name, to the new name in which the student identifies with, I don't know how far back this story goes, but if you Google it under Oklahoma along with "student name change" the article should pop up. I'm not transgender, but I can relate to the process of legally getting a name change done, it's a lot of paperwork from court, a lot of traveling, and expenses depending on the laws from each state.

No one seemed to pay attention to me other than a young woman who complimented me on my skirt and an older gentleman who smiled at me as we passed each other.

Wow, I guess it’s the dat to be in trouble.  I’ve been hit twice by the ASM today and it’s my day off.  Why didn’t you, followed latter with a where is the.  Made me realize that I do t want to continue working long enough to pay for it. I guess I’ll just to have to stick with my 20 year old car for now.   I suppose sooner or later only one of us won’t be able to drive anymore.  Since I am older you might think it would be me but at this time i am the one that does all the driving except when she goes to church or the store when I’m at work.  She hasn’t driven anywhere since February and hasn’t driven more than 10 miles in perhaps a year.  Yet the “good” car was purchased for her not for me because she couldn’t drive the Jeep which we bought strictly for her because she wanted it.  But it turned out I was the one that really liked it.  Can’t win.

Good morning :)   I have coffee today, but the cup keeps leaking (I guess the cap isn't able to fully seal or something), so I keep having to wipe up the sides lol   Almost finished all my missing work for school, which means if I do a bit more work, I should be out of trouble with my parents (not even that bad of trouble compared to when I was younger, more just an annoyance haha)

Good morning 😘   Finished packing up my kitchen and pantry for fumigation today. I also modified my backpack to make it day-centre compliant.  I was able to get almost 2 hrs sleep last night, so I'll survive. 😑

I'll be going to some Pride events as a spectator.  Maybe marching in a parade if they have open participation.    The event we'd prefer to go to is held in a small town with a population of less than 600.  They have a parade through all three blocks of their downtown area.  Unfortunately, this year it is on the same day as a memorial service for a friend who passed away this winter, so we'll have to miss it.  So our second choice is a larger town, population about 9000, a bit farther away.    And we are keeping our eyes open for other events in the general area as they are announced.   I dress a bit flashier than normal, with some trans bling, such as rainbow or trans flag earrings, a trans symbol pendant, and a handheld trans flag to wave.  Political sentiment is turning against us, but public sentiment here is still strongly on our side, so getting out and showing the flag, both literally and figuratively, is important.
