hi everyone, my wife dvred a session on the anderson cooper show a while back talking about children who are transgender and some of the cast were there. it was a great show.

i watched the trailer for the upcoming documentary trans, and cant wait till it comes to theaters.

i hope that it will serve to educate some of the general public, on what it is to be transgender.

Hugs,

Eliza

Hey Eliza,

That sounds great :) Is there anywhere you can watch the trailer? I live in Denmark so we'll probably get it a while later than the States as usual. Anyways, it sounds cool, have to watch it!

Ok thanks :) I'll check it out for sure! Do you know what the video is called, just so I get the right one?

Well, swing by little Denmark anytime. Yup just get ready to pay 60 pct. taxes, lots of money for groceries and such and three times as much for cars as in America ;) But hey, it's not too bad. Education, health care and hormones (Woohoo!!) are free. It's a nice place to visit for sure so definitely a good idea for a vacation.

the video is called trans the movie, or trans documentary.

the other one i found very compelling was red without blue.

you can just do a youtube search for transgender. they should come up.

wow, if i could handle the cold, id move there! free hormones! thats awesome.

in the us, none of the taxes really get put to good use like healthcare, just to line the crooks, i mean politicians pockets hehehe.

ttyl,

Eliza

Thanks! I checked out the trailer and will watch Red Without Blue soon as I have time.

DK doesn't get thaat cold, really. People tend to think it does because the rest of Scandinavia does but we're sheltered by the mountains in Norway so in the winter, it usually drops to around 0 and just rains a lot... like right now... :( But for the last two years it's been unusually cold and we had a LOT of snow, basically the country shut down. Ironically (and much to my amusement) this happened during the global warming summit in Copenhagen :D But yeah, usually you gotta deal with rain more than cold. Personally I prefer the cold and snow instead of sleet and brown slush.

Yeah, it's easy to fret over the taxes here but we do get a lot in return so I guess it's not so bad :) We surely have greedy politicians too but they don't get to take all of it :) Politicians ARE crooks indeed... I really like the States though :)

I recently caught the Trans trailer as well. It looks fantastic, and I am excited to see it. I sincerely believe that we need more of this kind of thing: responsibily made documentaries that can serve the purpose of portraying us and educating others in a respectful and accurate way. This one looks like it could definitely fit the bill.
