THEORY FOR THE CONFUSING 'GENDER-WAVERING'! :D

OK!... i've read quite a few topics and posts from the transgendered community about 'gender-wavering', the whole 'sometimes-i-feel-i-REALLY-have-to-transition-and-sometimes-i-don't' feeling. i too completely relate, i ride the 'gender-waves' too and it can be confusing and frustrating. i'm a research nerd, i study too much, and with what i've dug up plus my recent personal experience, i want to share a possible, plausible theory!! :D

ok, both testosterone and estrogen in varying degrees effect the mind, moods, and feelings...FACT! many can testify to that already.

being pre-hrt(hopefully not for long) i of course tried to find an 'alternative' route, a 'natural' method (yes i did research herbs and no this is not what this is about, i know they are unpredictable...) in natural i mean by diet and exercise. phyto-hormones contained within food? not quite, what i studied in depth was the natural hormone production itself and went a step further. the body can't make testosterone out of anything, it needs certain kinds foods, so by changing the diet in a way one can at least reduce the amount of T in the body.

now some personal back story. i'm asian, the asian diet contains alot of rice and noodles, and quite a bit of meat, for myself it's been ALOT of just rice and meat, not much anything else... now rice(white) is a very simple carb, how simple carbs react within the body is that it shoots up the insulin causing a spike(not healthy), that in turn causes a spike in testosterone!! which cause a whole plethora of nastiness...(in my case, TERRIBLE acne growing up, and huge muscles which i NEVER lifted weights for...ugh...) meat, especially the red kind with lotsa fat added on, also boosts testosterone production quite a bit... and that was all mainly my diet growing up, i very rarely at veggies and fruit... as i grew older and studied more i found this stuff out. there is also a website called genderdreaming(dot)something where couples can talk about increasing the chances of getting a child of their preferred gender by altering their natural hormone levels via diet, with interesting research and testimonies backing it up! so recently out of curiosity and health reasons, i decided to go with a vegan approach, a 180 degree turn from my usual diet(which has been very hard to do lol) its been at least 3 days, and you know what? i feel very much different, more at peace, more clarity, and feeling more femme! yes there are a lot of variables and it still might be too early to tell, but i'm gonna keep up it with and report over time how how it goes but... this is something worth looking into i truly believe!!

SO!! i declare a group experiment! for those who are pre-hrt 'gender-wavering', why not try this with me?? its hard to be vegan, even then, it goes further then that... you'll have to find it on your own as i can't post links here, but just google 'foods that produce/suppress testosterone', avoid the ones that cause more production, eat/drink the ones that 'suppress production', not phtyohormones... it's not east but, i think it's a cause worthy experiment to test out, i mean, this is life and health we're talking about!

so thoughts? comments? declarations of interest!? i felt inspired to share this to at least introduce new ideas, and to think optimistically, what if i'm right? what if quite a few of us tried this and got similar results? just think of the implications!... :D

Interesting experiment though I cannot imagine you will get to many participants. Personally I believe it is a placebo. You believe the diet will make you feel more fem so you end up feeling it. Then again maybe it does work.

Be interesting to hear what happens.

perhaps a placebo indeed!...alas though, there has been documented scientific evidence of testosterone levels altering depending on diet... not enough to feminize, but there would be a noticeable difference in the mind i would think!... this is more for the mental/psychological factor of how ya feel after alter the diet so ya, alot of variables to factor in... but it's too early to draw conclusions! :D

I agree with you on the T and E in food. For example I read that because of all the hormones that McDs cows get that you have a higher level of hormones in each burger you eat. So technically you should get a similar result from eating big Macs! Sunflowers I read had a significant level of some kind of something that mimics estrogen. Before hormones I looked for things. I cannot say I felt any different but then again so much has happen since then it’s hard to remember.

Anyways I think your post is interesting because I really believe the slogan that you are what you eat. I would love to hear what you learn if you get any takers.

Hey Leela, very interesting, have you thought about making a few meals , taking photos of the meals and creating a recipe book ?, then sell it as an eBook. (pun intended there, but serious about the recipes and book)

Just make sure you do your research and eat a healthy, balanced vegan diet. You still need a certain amount of protein, etc., and not everyone stays healthy on a vegan diet long term, it can be difficult to maintain sufficient intake of certain nutrients, such as B12 and iron.

Done right it can be very healthy in a lot of ways, though.

For one thing, the practice of putting into office wholly unqualified people simply because of racial, sexual or national characteristics.  It is no accident that Karine is a Haitian immigrant, Black and lesbian.  Kamala Harris is a Black female. Pete Buttigieg is gay.  Often you find that Biden explicitly stated that this is why he hired them, not because of competence, but because they checked so many boxes on his little list.  It makes a mockery of people and is a disservice to the US.

I am not sure why people are in favor of unaccountable agencies with bloated budgets and wasteful spending.

      What about it?

Hey girl  I had a problem like you happen to me also. In my first year of estrogen I had a period where my level were good then they got really bad where my testosterone spike high.  I felt like you with all that disforia coming hard. Our bodies need time to adjust. The process is a real pain in the beginning. It levels out eventually and you don't even think about it. Hang in there hugs

      Biden's woke agenda?

I wonder if there will be law enforcement procedural shows coming this fall. I can imagine Law and Order: Genital Crimes Unit, or perhaps, FBI: Domestic Genitalia. Then again, maybe they will dedicate a CSI program about the dedicated members of the Oklahoma State Police Genital Screening Unit. Good to know that those Oklahomans have their priorities squared away.

Protections? Well, when they mandate that some who is transgender can get facial and genital electrolysis paid as it is essential to affirming care, or when they mandate and pay for facial feminization surgery, speech therapy/voice affirmation surgery, I will believe that the order is effective. One of biggest hurdles for many transgender individuals is the cost of care. I remember when my one insurance company tried to say that my speech therapy and voice surgery were "cosmetic". I remember when they blocked paying for my facial surgery. I remember the fight I had to get electrolysis. These procedures could save someone's life if the procedures help the individual successfully transition, and are no longer misgendered.

I don't think it should be.  Nor do I see Project 2025 as pushing Christian nationalism.

The agencies are supposed to work for him.  The problem, as conservatives found out in Trump 1, was they will ignore the president and do their own thing.  The agencies are supposed to be under his control.   Congress delegated some of its law making authority to the agencies, which is another problem.   The bloated federal government needs to be trimmed.  Dept Education is worthless - test scores have dropped since it was instituted in the Carter administration consistently, and it is currently implementing Biden's woke agenda more than doing anything else.

I hope to eventually wear a suit for dance but don't know what exactly to look for. I feel like jumpsuit is safe option but I have been interested in wearing button up and formal pants. Is there a certain brand i should look for or sites I should look at for tips? My mom is not exactly keen on me wearing too masc clothing like suits just yet but is okay with jumpsuits. Also is there hair styling tips availible, my hair looks like image below. I might be able to get shorter haircut like pixie but am not sure yet.

It’s never been about him, but he is the Presidential nominee for the Presidency that starts in…2025. I don’t see a lot of conflation that this is a “Trump doctrine”, it a doctrine that benefits him surely, but it is a plan to instill crony governance and enact very Christian conservative (if not purely Christian nationalist) “order” on the country. If you don’t see this as the Right doubling down on Big G government, I don’t know what to tell them. Getting rid of agencies and giving the authority directly to the Executive isn’t shrinking government. It’s consolidation power.

It is the made up ideology they believe trans people are pushing on the world, those “poor young girls who are being coerced into believing they are men” and the “perverts who put on dresses and think they’re girls”. The anti-LGBTQ+ movement came up with the term. Being trans = you believe in trans ideology/transgenderism, supporting trans people = the same.   In the end anyone that acts on or thinks gender is anything but what is in your pants is a “transgenderist”, why not make it a word if it’s not, there is no real grey area. Unless you acknowledge there is transgenderism, but use your knowledge to “correct it”.  So I guess there could be transgenderist conversion “therapists”.  Face it, we deface the America they want. Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? I think being out and queer is pretty brave. And freedom shouldn’t just be for those who push a narrow “Christian ideology” as the “true” governing model.

Rants are not a problem.  My favorite hobby! :)   What's out there is bad enough that I wonder why some people feel they need to embellish it.  Be alert.   Some of this will need to be fought in court if they try to implement it. If people are out to get me, paranoia is justified.  And this may not be the only document.   Abby

Not in so many words, therefore it's not there at all.  Excuse my paranoia. And the states passing laws against us are nothing to worry about either. Having to change my gender back to male (like in Florida) is reasonable.  I should just accept it, I mean I was born with a dk.  So that "F" is lie, and a fraud.  My delusions need to be dealt with for my own good.   I'm just frustrated these days.  Just a bit of a rant.
