Hi Ladies, Im looking for some stores that sell quality plus size clothes.I find many things that are pretty in misses sizes

but 1x size clothing in most stores seems less feminine.

Catherine' and Kohl's are both good for quality and selection.

Lane Bryant has a line of slacks that are tailored to different body types, and there is their yellow tag fit for narrow hips that I have had success with. They also come in a tall set of sizes. J.C. Penney and some of the Macy's stores are also good. With Macy's you have to check the individual store, example, in Pasadena, there are two Macy's, and one has an almost microscopic Women's department (this one is in an area near the community college), and the other (in an older, more affluent neighborhood) has a HUGE Women's selection .

Torrid clothing store they are more up to trend and have lots to choose from. The good stuff for plus size women.

Shopping online is a great alternative, because you have privacy, and the better stores have great return policies. When my ex-wife was heavy, she shopped at these two stores online. I'd take time to REALLY look through their websites, because I believe you'll like some of what you see on them:

Mind you, both of these stores especially sell plus-size shoes too. There ARE other stores, but these two are good for starters, and they're not expensive compared to most stores.

I know of a good many stores that have very nice pretty plus sized cloths stores like Deb, Dots, Rainbow to name a few

Kimberly, I found a terrific plus size site called "one stop plus" a friend of mine told me about it and it has many of the sites already mentioned, and a host of others. My friend who has finished her transition said she had shopped at many of companies when she was first starting out,. and never had a problem if she needed to return something. I just checked it out and yes it appears very promising.
