Man-hips

Ok so I've been crossdressing for a good year now, wearing nothing but guy clothes and trying to pass as much as I can, with pretty good results. Most people call me "sir" or at least try to avoid using specific pronouns, which is good enough for me since I'm pre-T and I can't really expect everyone to see my pretty face and think "manly man" lol.

Luckily my chest is very small, so that's really no problem, and I wear hoodies and collared shirts to make my neck seem thicker. My main problem is this: Tiny waist, wide hips, junk in the trunk. I have a horrid hourglass figure. :|

I was wondering if there was any way to disguise or make hips more narrow, and get rid of that girly-curve in my back. The only thing I could think of is trying to lose weight around there, so I've been riding my bike constantly, not very much results besides the fact that my thighs feel like rocks now.

Anything would help. I usually pass, but then everyone tells me from the back I look like a girl(I had one male friend say "your latin butt is too nice to be a dude's"), and the hips make me look so disproportionate and strange. Dx It sucks.

Thanks!

Maybe bigger pants? I'm assuming you're wearing guy's already, but maybe a bigger size, with a belt if it's too big in the waist?

Losing weight would probably help the same way T would, sort of. Getting rid of the fat instead of redistributing it. So that's a good idea; I would keep excersizing. (Is that spelled wrong? For some reason I can't spell that word today.)

Yeah, maybe I should start doing that. I mostly wear straight leg jeans or the relaxed fit. It has a habit of clinging to my thighs and then getting loose around my shins, making it look more awkward. I'll probably do trial and error with different fits and styles, and maybe go up a jean size. My girlfriend doesn't want me to go too big though, because she says when I wear those baggy pants, it makes me look like I'm trying to get into that thug style and it doesn't suit me very well.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I started doing the exercise! Because it is pretty much the same thing...I think the main reason I'm not getting much results is my diet. I'll work on that too. Thanks for the tip. :]

(And yeah, it's "exercising." I always spelled it that way too until last year when my teacher barked at me about it lol.)

maybe pull your pants a little lower on your hips (not too far down, obviously) so that the legs of your pants straighten out more and then pull a shirt or hoodie straight down to a little lower than where your pants sit. it can straighten out your figure a bit.

That actually works. My friend came from behind me when I did that and said "Dude! You really look like a guy that way!" That made my day and I've been doing that ever since.

I have found that wearing an unbuttoned long sleeve dress shirt or an unbuttoned suit jacket can work wonders for hips. Dark colors generally help too. If you draw a lot of attention to more masculine areas it will help too. If you're flat enough to pass as male there with attention then you should wear a top that diverts attention from the bottom. For example, an unusual graphic t-shirt, a patterned vest, or a message shirt. There also are masculine accessories that are helpful such as unique ties and hats. A top hat will grab attention away from your hips but if you want something subtler a fedora would work too. A patterned beanie can be helpful too though. There are also compression shorts which will make your hips and butt flatter. Losing weight will definitely help. I'm going for a weight of 105, which was the weight at which my breasts completely disappeared, though at 115 my hips looked male.

I agree with what everyone else has said, those things do work...also, i heard doing "sideways push-ups" (can`t think of their proper name :/ ) can help, not sure if that`s true though since i`m too lazy to try it out and just prefer to wear baggy jeans, lol...

Been using the wok on the back deck a lot the last few months.  Just got another stock of udon noodles from Amazon and we are using those in the stir fry with onions, peppers and a spicy peanut sauce.  I did this often in the 90's too, but back then I was just using a standard Coleman camp stove instead of this high BTU wok burner.  I've had the burner for a couple years, but haven't been using it regularly until recently.

I’m a lefty. Learned to be a bit ambidextrous for certain tools that assume right handedness like scissors, but couldn’t write with my right hand to save my life.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.

Yeah.  I like Nebula, that was where I watched it.   I posted the YouTube cause I figured more people could see it.

We agree on most of this... and the church/state thing is kind of a tangent anyways. Oops. LOL   I think it has long been established that all different kinds of groups have access to public funds. In my opinion, either everybody has access or nobody does. I would prefer "nobody."   Relying on public funds gives the government the power to take it away, and puts that power in the hands of whatever group controls the government at the moment... the news article that is the topic of this thread shows a clear example of that happening.  Organizations trust government at their peril.

More info on Abigail Thorne here: https://go.nebula.tv/philosophytube and, Dracula's ex-girlfriend, on Philosophy tube.   "The reason why Nebula is so cheap for what it is, is because there's no upper hierarchical group looking yo skim off the top. Imagine how much cheaper EVERYTHING could be if it was like that for every other service or product; if the money went straight to workers, not up a chain of command until it reached someone who did exactly "jack" to produce what's being sold.
