Hormone costs and where to get

So my parents co-signed my bank account and when they realized that my therapist had agreed to write me a letter for T they took all my money out. This being said, right now i don't have much money and am looking for a job. i know this info is on here but i couldnt really find it so i was wondering the costs of t and the visits to the doc. also, does anyone know any doctors that will write for t in/near auburn, al or if universities would prescribe? Thanks!

Hey - I don't know anything about where you are, but I know that there are always some type of free clinic, but I'd check with a local LGBT organization if no one gets back to you in here. T isn't really all that expensive relatively speaking, however, I live in Canada, so I'm not 100% certain what it would cost you. I have a health care plan and pay like 10 bucks for injectable (when I can actually get it, which I can't), but without the plan, I believe that it would be 40 bucks for two months supply.

Sorry I can't help much more than that, but I hope you can find what you need. I'd say an important hurdle is talking to your parents and trying to get your money back. They may not want you to do it, but the plain simple truth is that you will do what you need to do with or without their support, so hopefully they will get on board. My mom took a few months, but she is there with me now. She even made a little joke when I was joking with my brother.
