U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder spoke at a regional conference on preventing bullying, harassment and violence agains the LGBT Community. The conference was held at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Last night at the Stein Club the MPD tried to explain that the disparity in solving crimes against trans people really did not exist becuase due to the relatively small numbers of trans people, the statistics were not comparable. Big ol' B me told them that they can frame the statistics anyway they like, but at the end of the day, the numbers are the numbers. I was sadly unsurprised when they were totally unaware that DC led the nation in murders of trans people.

Anyway, so glad to see that the Obama administration is trying to do the right thing...
