LOL unless your like 10 years old i don't see the problem with displaying your gamer tags. If you get someone on there you don't like you can easily delete/block them.

Telling ppl your "nick name" aka gamer tag can not hurt you in anyway what so ever.

It would be like not posting your hair color because you dont want to risk it....?

I imagine if you're still in the closet, then posting your username on a public transgender forum could have negative consequences. Way around that would be to create a second psn name, but then that sucks because all of your trophies and saves will be under your original name.

I imagine if you're still in the closet, then posting your username on a public transgender forum could have negative consequences. Way around that would be to create a second psn name, but then that sucks because all of your trophies and saves will be under your original name.

I was going to share my PSN name, but then I thought about this above/quoted post. I'm a Guide for the online community, PlayStation Home. Which just means I help people there, kinda like everyone helps me here **hugs**. That's actually one way I cope with not being "out" in my real life - because I can be anyone online which is liberating.

I do also use "JealousMoon" but it's just an alt account, I don't game with it.
