So here I go talking about Sephora again...this time I was at a mall and they had a regular size Sephora. I think I almost cried because that place is just so awesome and amazing.

But I digress.

I've been looking for this product for awhile now and I'm so glad Sephora has it. After doing makeup and getting out and about for a few hours, I noticed my nose was a little shiny. Well as you know, that's totally unacceptable. more powder! I guess the skin around my nose is a little oily and my solution at the time was just to put more powder on it.

Until..I found Oil Removing Papers at Sephora. They're very thin sheets of paper, not very big at all, and you just blot it over your oily areas and the paper absorbs the oil and you look fresh once again. They also come in 3 different flavors but the girlie girl in me went for the lavender scented ones.

Oh and they're pretty cheap, too. You get like 100 in a pack for $8 I think.

Another nifty thing I found (for $3!) were makeup remover towelettes for your brushes. Just take out one sheet and unfold it onto your hand and then wipe the makeup brush back and forth over it. Let dry for 2-3 minutes and you're done!

Sephora is amazing, and yes, Lizzie #2 I signed up for the reward club so I can earn points towards free stuff.

try a primer under your foundation also, it will help the foundation stay better and control oiliness. I have super duper oily skin, and live in tx so this heat wrecks. I feel when I use a primer my makeup looks a lot better. Prime Time Primer is my fave, check amazon has it pretty cheap. Also I had a gf of mine start using milk of magnesia under her foundation. crazy, but it works? check this out http://philosophizingbeauty.blogspot.com/2010/11/milk-of-magnesia-under-name-maalox-as.html

Liz~ the blotting papers are great, especially when your a resident of a humid warm southern state. VIB is soooooo cool, I just wish they would get a new 500 point gift already instead of the damn nail polish set. Primer is also a must, I like the Pore fessional stuff by Benefit a whole lot, but there are a lot of good ones out there. A good tinted moisturizer applied after the primer and before the foundation does wonders too.

Well I found out that not only does Sephora have botting papers, I also found some by Neutrogena in the skin care aisle of Walmart AND another by Hard Candy in the makeup aisle. I've been trying to find oil blotting papers forever and now all of a sudden they're popping up.

The Neutrogena ones are actually pretty awesome because the package comes with a little piece of tape you remove so whenever you close the package the tape sticks onto the next sheet. Then you open it up and lift the paper off the top cover instead of having to fumble around trying to only grab one since they're so thin. Also they're blue and they turn to clear once they've soaked up oil so once you're done the sheet looks all clear, perfect for grossing out your friends. "Hey look at how much oil this thing absorbed from my face!"

..it's almost as gross as those Biore nose strips that had little dirt mountains from where it pulled dirt out of the pores on your nose. (anyone remember those?!)
