Police: McCain volunteer made up robbery story

There is no doubt that people can get passionate about their candidate. However there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. This was likley an individual act and goes beyond the usual childish lawn sign stealing and bumper sticker defacing which has increased everywhere.

What are your thoughts?

I agree, Laura...this is a line that should not be crossed. Oh, of course the ATM video tapes gave her up and showed the cops things didn't happen as she said...it was unfortunate that she blamed the episode on a 6' 4" black man. Just trying to spread more hate.....I can't believe that she went as far as to carve a "B" on her own face, but, the fact that it was upside down and backwards was probally a clue that it was done in a mirror

As far as yard signs go...in the 2004 elections our signs kept getting stolen. They were about 100' from the house by the road and someone would stop in a pickup truck and just take them in broad daylight! Well, this election the Obama sings are close to the house within reach of Riley the wonder dog (all black German Shepard) and by gosh.they have not been touched!

Remember everyone....whomever you vote for...get out there and vote! A lot of good people died so you have the right to do it....so exercise your rights!
