The letter?

Hello

So it recently came to my knowledge that you need a letter from a therpist for certain trans realated things. I'm going to need one for school what does it need to say? Just that I'm transgender and he supports or something else?

Basically the letter that you need is to explain that you are a transsexual and that you are living as your target gender as a part of your treatment - you are to be treated as anyone else of your target gender.

Most therapists who have dealt with even one transsexual client are aware of what is needed.

Some call this a carry letter or a get out of jail free card - it isn't but it gives you a bit of a confidence as you go out in the early days and especially the first time that you have to use the ladies room - I m not really sure if I have one in my purse or not, I don't think about it anymore.
