@Shay - Those are wonderful "bass" vid's, I've seen Chris Squire and Getty Lee live, would not mind seeing Tal someday live, she's amazing.

As for Peter Frampton's epic "high powered talk box" solo in "do you feel like we do", Bob Heil (ham radio guy) developed that version with Joe Walsh, who in turn passed it on to Peter. The melodic guitar run in that recording that occurs about 10:50 - 10:58 using it is simply EPIC.

Thinking of Peter this morning and of course Steve Marriott in this, another epic Peter solo....

I was just listening to
"Come on home" by John Prine and watched a video of Steven Colbert and him singing "The way the world goes round". Just tears of beauty........The E kicked right in.

An understandable emotion after listening to that song Charlize. That song sure grabs your heartstrings!

I had not realized he had died of Covid in April of this year until a friend posted the tribute from Colbert on Facebook.  The duet they sang became so poignant knowing he had passed.

Wow - Freudian Slip (wonder if he'd look good in a slip) - I thought I wrote "We are doing" and it came of "She is doing".

My first band did this song and Rory Gallagher was my all time favorite act LIVE - he was amazing in concert............

Rory is so energetic - I went to Ireland (pronounce R-land) and stayed near his home town of Cork and didn't know about the tribute his town gave him and I could kick myself now - if I ever get back I'm going - there is an annual Rory Gallagher Festival. He opened doors for Thin Lizzy and U2.

Nice tune!!  I have always enjoyed this one written by Hoyt Axton.

I recall reading an interview with John Kay years ago.  He was living quietly with his wife in the hills of Tennessee.
