I'm reading Peter Frampton's memoir and he mentioned how he and Humble Pie were jamming on one of his riffs he came up with at a sound check, Steve Marriot runs up to the stage and just starts singing - pretty much the lyrics as they would end up being. They played it in concert THAT NIGHT and just after the live Fillmore album was recorded Peter left the band to start his on solo journey because he had a lot of tunes that didn't fit Humble Pie. (What a time to leave).

Shay,  I had all the early, really great Moody albums in college and played them until I wore them out.   I came into a bit of money in 72 so I went to the record store and bought them all over.   Here is their last great album with only Justin and John.  I usually break into tears totally down my face in places on it.   The cover shows their opinion of the breakup of the group.   I think it was the last of the great artwork covers,Threshold and Tony Clark.   I am too lazy to go dig out the album to check.   You are more up on the industry, I'm just listener.

Yes, very much so.   I was an innocent loving mixed up hippie then.   I have pretty much gotten back to that now.

I was a Hippie back in the mid to late 60s too the long hair and bell bottom jeans.

By 1970 I kind of figured out I needed an income if I wanted to eat and have a place to live. Living on a commune was not all that cool.
