@Cyndee DO you have a copy with the spinny thing on the cover - I love playing with it?

@Shay - why I do..... it's just so much fun to spin the dial...

On my desk now, I've dug out my 40+ year old copy of "Deja Vu" CSNY on Atlantic, I was looking at the grooves, it's in really good shape, and now they want like $80 for the 50 year re-issue vinyl on Amazon (with the cool outtakes)

Here's a "lyrically questionable" song relative to trans (Child of Vision) . . .

But 'ave been thoroughly stuck on this lately (very cute!)

Thank you @Jani for intersting Rickenbacher video.... I'm having a leftie Ric bass being made for me and our guitarists use Rickenbachers for Beatles, Petty and Byrds songs we do.   Here are samples licks you probably have heard and may not have known the neat sound.

A little known fact - Tom Petty and Mike Campbell couldn't afford a 12 string on their first couple albums so they would play 1 track with a regular 6 string guitar then use the high end 6 strings of a 12 string on a cheap guitar and layer the 2 tracks together.

The story of how Mike Campbell got his is neat.  Turned out to be the one built after George Harrison's.

That's a cool Reverb video on Ric's.  John Lennon's is the iconic color but knowing it was repainted from a more natural finish makes me think one of those would be rarer to own.

Thank you @miz miranda - it's official - I filed today to change my name - I did request a waiver to not publish name because I live in a VERY conservative (that's putting it politely) area of our state.

I decided to sell off some of my vinyl I haven't played in years and big surprise. I just listed Presto by Rush for $29.99 and already got an offer for $50..... I don't remember the album being one of there better ones so I guess this morning is a Rush day.
