Changing my normal style...

I guess this might be more of androgynous but I'm not too sure...although I am still technically a crossdresser

Notes (since hey, first post)

- I did do quite a bit of CDing

- I'm not gay, I know I'm extremely straight o_o;;

- I started CDing cause I was a loner and thought (wrongly, technically but w/e), that girl's had more friends always, and was easier for them to (I have Autism+ADD so school was pretty hard - not atm but ok -, and hard for me to make friends but... oh well whatever)

- then it turned into a way to release stress somehow

- now it's more like cause I feel like it if ever, I'd do it (full one), or trying to integrate it into my normal clothes for no reason other than wanting to appear more androgynous looking

- my "style" I wear with my "guy" clothes is pretty very very casual -> jeans + tshirt + long sleeve tshirt + jacket (if needed)

I'm trying to eventually convert some (all?) of those clothes into female alternatives, or mix and match whatever I feel like

- when I do fully crossdress though, I tend to try to go for a more casual style (I guess they call it the "girl next door" type style? /shrug) (like what I think I would wear if I was an actual girl o.o... although I'm not going to do that when I'm walking about outside with a skirt on really lolol don't really want to)

- I don't plan to become an actual girl, I just want to be androgynous

So already I integrated some underdressing into my normal clothes stuff, as well as added some female jeans and wore those. I am also adding a (female) hoodie/jacket

Only problem it seems is the female cut tshirts (babydoll tshirts, etc) kind of look weird on guys

luckly I guess though I'm pretty dang skinny and short for a guy, but idk, I'll probably have to buy some lower neckline guy tshirts and go metro for a bit before moving to that or something...... not sure @@;;

Also I assume if I want to do an androgynous style I should get makeup, but I wouldn't know at all what to put emphasis on @ my face in the first place (oh, and I never done makeup before) - I don't know what features of my face/body is feminine, and which parts to de-emphasize on (masculine)...

Luckly though for some reason a mustache doesn't actually grow on my face fully, and the beard/chin doesn't really grow either, so I guess that helps (my mustache... well someone from my school jokingly commented it was like a "reverse hitler" because it only grows on the outer part of the mustache - like only on the left/right of the face, not in the middle) (... and well my chin only has like 3-4 hairs sticking out or something o_o;;)

I have a picture of myself that I took really quickly for reference if people want to help me on that for some reason o_o

also... TT no suggestions?

I guess I have to upload a picture of my face (normal look, current look anyways)

http://imgur.com/FPkHB

I should also say that my arms are pretty skinny

http://imgur.com/GqcBe

(see the left part/upper arm is really really skinny ._.)

so I guess wearing like babydoll tshirts can work out? Not sure what else I have to do without looking totally weird though...

tt ... can't find out how to upload a picture TO here so that it'll be hidden from unregistered? @@;

Akikami,

Some of my most attractive "straight male" freinds, incorporate some cross dressing into thier daily look. I think it is very atttractive and it seems that most of the heterosexual women that I know seem to also find androgyny attractive in men. Maybe it's just the people that I assocaite with ... but anyway .... LOL ... Regardless ... I would encourage you to keep exploring what feels right to you.

Best,

Juniper

I should say I'm primarily from just CDing, and I guess my terminology might be a bit weird (given the way you put that in quotes ~~) but yeah. oh well @@'

when you say they incorporate crossdressing into their daily look - which clothes do you mean? Cause I'm not sure that they can incorporate like skirts and whatnot ofc, so do you mean Tank tops? Do they wear Babydoll Tshirts? (tight tshirts+higher sleeves/shorter sleeves than the unisex tshirts), Would they wear camisoles underneath? How girlish? etc, not sure

examples would be nice, like is (ok, I'm just putting names of the clothes from Old Navy -- not sure if I can link to them from what I get from the rules? @_@)

Women's V-Neck Layering Camis <-- would they wear this underneath for example?

Women's Perfect Crew-Neck Tees <-- would they just wear this on top completely?

I'm not entirely sure which clothes would be their style (I'm just trying to understand what they are wearing at least to get an idea @@)

bump, ._. nobody else wants to help~? tt

although I guess I'm working on mainly getting my hair length longer for now, while I figure out the clothes a bit later I guess @@................... which I still kinda need help with ._<

[[[[[semi off topic: ... wonder how girls deal with the summer weather with long hair, it's pretty dang hot with my hair that just goes up to the middle of the neck or so ._. although that could be also cause I'm asian and have black hair too..]]]]]

well... as being female bodied and having spent years trying to cover what I have many female clothings where left behind so I can't help much on the clothing....other than say that I enjoy guys who wear skirts, tanks, cami's, baby-T's and well the whole 9 yards... and if I was slimmer and less female bodied I would possibly enjoy a larger selection of clothing (I know it shouldn't matter, but I am very self conscious about what /I/ can see).

eye liner, is love. Along with plucking ones brows which I'm to lazy to do...

As for hair.... why do you think so many people in summer wear their hair up XD If my hair gets halfway to my shoulders I usually chop it off, but the few times I've allowed it to grow out I ended up perpetually living in pony tails/pig tails/whatever the hell style would get it off my neck. For shorter hair about the length you say yours is, pull the top up with a band and pin the bottom half up with bobby pins in the back at least if you can get enough, colour has less to do with the heat than thickness so even if you can only get half of it off your neck it'll help.

heh.

Well I guess I'm in a similar situation to you then. technically it doesn't really matter what clothes I wear, but {since I'm living with my parents and} society dictates which clothes to me/etc/etc.... erm... well idk.

Tanks I guess could be ok, but I'm not too sure if I can do cami/baby-T's in public or so -> there are tanks for men, but no cami+baby T's...

at least for baby-T's, I'm not TOO sure if I would be able to pull it off with my form (I guess since I'm skinny, I might pull it off -> images above in my 2nd post?), but I'm not exactly sure if it'll be ok with my parents to wear those stuff around the house/outside atm

... unless I can find one that has a higher neckline+a bit longer sleeve ._., which is one of the things I'm not too sure of

(hmm I should really find out how to move out... no jobs around here and Community college... Zzz)

@hair: well... when I said that it goes to the middle of my neck ish, I ment the back (=_=), the front is like to my nose or so... but thanks for the advice ~

and yeah I guess. just I've seen random girls have their hair down and I'm like @_@wut

      Please consider joining us, even if it's just for a few minutes to see what the meetings are like. I've learned so much, had so much fun and gained confidence in myself just by being a part of this amazing group of people. It's a low key, no pressure, non-judgmental chance to just be among people who are supportive, understanding and affirming of each other.    I'm travelling out of state and still planning on dropping in for awhile.    Come see what it's like!!

      Thank you, Susan!! It was such an amazing experience for me. I can't remember if I even talked about it on a Zoom meeting.   Here is the link to the post I made about it. And, again, thank you for helping to give me the courage to do it.

      Good morning coffees   This probably doesn’t exactly apply to me because you wouldn’t have found a more shy and conservative person than me.  I was perhaps less shy before my sister started complaining about me doing things that were hers to do. And I would become embarrassed and that was the end of that.   upstairs unit got their typical weekend visitors in the middle of the night last night.  They woke me up.  They have little consideration for being in a condo community and the neighbors being in such close proximity.   @awkward-yet-sweet , how goes the job with your husband’s boss?  I don’t recall you saying much about it this week, but I could have missed a post along the way.  If I recall you were supposed to meet with him last Monday.   @KymmieL I hope you are feeling better.     Yes, I find it to be wrong that just because a car part says Ford or Chevrolet on the box that same part with Lincoln or Cadillac on the box cost a lot.more.  I know there are differences in the upscale brands such as the engine and drivetrain in the Caddy and of course the interior fit and finish.  But it’s the same body with things crammed in the same way under the hood.     well, time to finish my coffee, fix my hair and made my way across the street to work.    willow

      I read about her this morning. What a shame! She was beautiful and it seems she had a strong support system in place and could have had a wonderful life all to have it end like this. Such a waste. I truly hope the monster that killed her gets everything he deserves.

      I am so glad you enjoy them as well. The help things “stay put” so well. It got me through some of my most dysphoric times.   Wow, I hadn’t heard this at last week’s Zoom meeting if you had mentioned it. That is a huge milestone April Marie.I have no doubt that this confidence will only grow in time. The freedom of being yourself, especially in public, is a wonderful feeling. I am truly happy for you.😘   *Big Congratulatory Hug* Susan R🌷
