A simple guide on how to pass flawlessly as a transsexual

Well. Hello guy. My name is Jackie, and I had been a transsexual since i was 6. I don't know if it just me, but I feel like... most of us had been trying too hard to pass as the opposite gender. Some transsexual, even tho they look like a female, thank to their "too much" make up, I could tell they were transsexual. This is not a topic to judge anybody or anyone. The whole purpose of this topic is to share some of my experience to pass as a girl.

1. The only things you need to pass:

In my opinion, you don't have to act girly, speak girly, watch your grammar or anything like that to pass. The only things that you need a good, decent, feminine, not necessary high or low pitch, just feminine voice

2. Don't act like someone who you are not. Don't even bother to train yourself

Like I said. Don't bother to force yourself to act the way you not normally act. Just be yourself. I had seen girls who tried too hard to "be girly", they ended up to be more gay than girly. I'm not judging you or anything, I'm just pointing out my opinion. Don't force yourself to be girly if you are not. Because if you are a girl, you are a girl. Your personality doesn't matter, because every girl is different. If you know you are a girl, you are a girl.

To be honest, I'm one of the most masculine girl that you will ever fine x3. And I'm fine with that ;D, even tho I'm masculine, I still pass as a girl without even trying, because I'm just being myself. And when you are being yourself, you are flawless. Why? Because you are you. Look at me, I'm a gamer, I'm a fan of first person shooting game like Combat Arm or Roblox Paintball Game (if you guy know what I'm talking about, you are awesome ;D ). Yet, no one think that I'm a boy, and in fact, lots of boys think I'm a cool girl and even flirt with me. I'm also a fan of RPG game like Legend of Zelda series, and I know when I play my nintendo DS at school, boys look at me.

My personality is tomboy-ish. I'm not girly, not really at all. I don't correct my grammar or the way I speak word. When I talk to people, I still use word like "what's up dude" to boys and "Hey girl" to girl. Just be yourself! Don't worry about what other people think. They might think you are masculine, but you are a girl. There are real genetic girl that are masculine as well! So just look at them, take them as an example, and be yourself. You should never worry about acting differently.

3. How your look is somewhat... not that important

There is a lesbian at my school that dress like a guy all the time. She is not a transsexual, she just like to dress up like guy. Even though she look like a total guy, we all still know she is a girl, because she have a female voice. So don't worry about how you dress, because a girl is a girl. If you are a girl, you are a girl. The way you dress is not the factor that judge you. As long as you have a female voice, you are good to go! You can dress like a guy all you want, but remember, use your girl voice, and I know for sure you will pass.

Now. Umh, about make up. I don't get why you people spend so much money on make up ;P . I'm proud to say: I had been crossdressing every single day for the past... 2-3 months i guess? And I had not touch any make up. Yet, I still look fine and pass as a girl. I personally think a girl should be happy with how she look, doesn't matter if she think she is ugly or not, because the subject of beautiful or not is optical, someone might think you are ugly, but other might think you are pretty. So girl, it's okay for you to wear make up. But yeah, don't use too much! This isn't necessary help you in passing as a girl, but yeah you get my point.

4. The most important step.

Be yourself. That's all I can say.

You see, there are lots of girls in this world. Every single of them is different. There are girls that are tomboy, there are girls that are girly, there are girls that are mean, there are girls that are nice. You should never worry about your personality. Just be yourself. Because when you are yourself, you will be able to express yourself.

I heard lots of people say "If you want to be a girl, you have to like boy, act girly and such". Now let me explain it to you, silly people ;P . I will break the big question into 3 big parts:

1. Gender Identity

Gender identity is what gender you are. It just simply decide whether you are a boy or a girl. That's it. It does not have anything to do with your mind, your personality, or anything else.

2. Sexual Orientation

I'm bisexual, so what? Just because I like girl, you are going to say I'm not a girl? Haha. No. Sarcasm intended. How do you explain a lesbian then? My friend. Sexual Orientation have nothing to do with whether you are a guy or a girl. It's just who you like. And that's all it mean. You don't have to like guy to be a girl, maybe you are just a lesbian, who know?

3. Personality

Like i said. Don't bother to force yourself to have a different personality, because so far, most people who try to force themselves to have different personality, they end up being not very happy. Look at the girls, real girls, they all have different personality, they all are unique in their own ways. You are a girl too, and you are unique. If you like to do push up and can do push up 100 time, do it! If you know you are a girl, you are a girl. Your personality doesn't matter

Wrap up

Alright. I know the guide had horrible grammar, I'm sorry, I'm not a native English speaker ;P So excuse me. These are just a guide that I use (and made) to pass as a girl. To prove to you that my guide does work, I will post some pictures of myself below, and you will judge the guide depending on how passing I look in the pictures.

Side note: At school, I totally pass as long as I don't open my mouth ;P I am training my voice to have a more feminine voice, but right now when I talk, I can only use my male voice ;P, which made other ppl know im a dude >.> lol. Well, hey, atleast I have very supportive friends. And even tho most ppl know I'm a guy now (yeah rumor spread very fast ;P ), new ppl who come to the school, when they see me, they see a girl, not a guy.

Anyway, here are the pics:

http://tianajrp.deviantart.com/art/Eh-Is-this-Asian-enough-x3-291132518

http://tianajrp.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4ruuse

^those are probably not the best pics of me lol, but k xD Those pics are the best out of all the available pics that I have on my computer at this moment lol. I would love to take other pictures, but excuse me, it is 3:06 am right now ;P (i had been typing this since 2:30 am i think) I seriously need some sleep ;P Well. I guess I will take a new pic when I wake up lol

Thank you for reading.

Please comment with a rating for the guide ranging from 0 (worst thing that i ever seen in my life. Wow, thank alots guy ;P) to 10 (OMG Best. Guide. Evaaaaaar!!! lol).

With regards to makeup, it's generally required to pass for people that have noticeable facial hair.. Shaving does not make it disappear for most MtF people. Also, lots of people just enjoy wearing it. Otherwise, I more or less agree with you.

This is a good post... Ive always thought being yourself was the best policy nice to see someone agree :)

The only thing you mentioned that I don't agree with haha, is Zelda being called an RPG! Zelda is not an RPG!! its an action adventure series :P

Jokes aside I think this post has a really good message, thanks for sharing :)

Honey........

Yes, some girls try too hard.....

But, I see from your pics how easy it is for you to pass....

Most others aren't so lucky and have to work hard on their presentation. I also knew I was a girl from 5-6 years old, but, I didn't start my transition until I was 58.....I had to reconstruct a lot of years of testosterone poisoning.....

You are small, trim and cute......not the same for many of us.....

Many of us have to work very hard......

So, while I agree with the tone of your post, it isn't the best way for everyone.....

I'm glad that you pass so easily!

I'm not so sure... Well, probably because I'm only 14, my facial hair doesn't grow that fast, and I can go on for a week without shaving and not being notice to have faicial hair, but yeah, like i said, i'm not the one to judge, I'm just saying that I think you look better when you are you. And the true you is the most beautiful version of you. Make up to me is somewhat just a tool to hide who you are. So well, I'm okay with people wearing make up, but I prefer to see the true you. Trust me.

A quote that I learned from my parent (sorry for the grammar because I learned it in Vietnamese i just translating it):

"There is no ugly girl, there are just girls who like to make themselves pretty and girl who doesn't"

Just be yourself :3 Everyone is beautiful in their own way, doesnt matter if they have the facial noticable.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL k xD well. Oh well, you are right xD I thought that Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time was a RPG (due to its 3d first person perspective and we role playing as Link rescuing Zelda). I just looked up wikipedia and it said it is action adventure genre lol...

Okay >.> So now instead of zelda, how about Pokemon lol ;D I'm a huge fan of pokemon as well :3 isnt it a RPG? ;D

Me = easy? Well... I'm not so sure, but...

The only thing that I like the most about myself is my legs. My arm look so masculine >.> and yeah, although I'm somewhat unhappy with how I look, I love myself and I'm not afraid to show this world that I'm a girl.

It's true that some of them doesn't look very "nice", but so what? There are girl that don't look that "nice" neither. I'm not saying they are not beautiful, but I'm saying is very one is different. It's okay to be masculine, and as long as you are a female, you are a female. People are not going to judge whether you are a guy or a girl according how to dress. They are just going to judge if you are pretty or not. And how I judge people whether they are a guy or a girl? I judge if they are being honest with themselves or not. Just be yourself, you might not be the most beautiful girl out there, but be yourself. Who care about what other people think? You know how awkward is it to walk into the boy locker room (because I'm suppose to lock my backpack and stuff in ;P) with long hair and some accessory like hello kitty necklace? D: Just be yourself, and you are golden.

Last word: I don't care about how you look. If you are a girl, you ARE a girl. And to me, that is a pass. If you know you are a girl, then you are a girl, that all you need. Your look doesnt matter.

Thank you for reading :3

My 3 steps:

1. Recognize that "passing" is flawed concept. It infers deception and continues the cycle of living for others.

2. You are a woman, not "a transsexual".

3. As you said: Be You.

#1 Umh... I have bad English understanding skill, I'm not so sure I fully understand what this mean. But okay

#2 Yes I know that, but I usually use the word Transsexual to describe when I talk to other people about this subject because it easier for them to understand. If you say you are a girl, they are going to confuse you with normal genetic girl. So I usually say transsexual or transgirl instead

#3 Yay! ;P lol

Yes, you are a woman. A woman with a prostate.

Can I be refer as a "girl" please? x3 a woman sound... a bit too old for a childish girl like me x3

This explains how I can pass now even without HRT (though I'm not sure if I can without a wig; my hair isn't really long yet).

You got lucky on the facial hair side. I'm part Italian, so I have very dark, coarse facial hair that leaves a noticeable shadow even when clean shaven. I probably need to shave 2-3 times per day just to keep it at a level where makeup can do anything.

Long hair or short hair, like I said, doesn't matter. Be yourself. And you will pass.

Okay... Maybe this guide is aimed for teenager like me i guess, because it look like older generation have more expectation, requirement for what it take to be a woman (like to be a woman you suppose to do this, do that, tomboy are not good, etc) But yeah, everyone around my age is all different, we all act in different way, and all have different style. There are lots of straight crossdresser girl at my school who act, dress like guy, yet is still a girl. So don't worry about how you look, just be yourself and you will pass

Side note:

Thank you :3 Well, I'm Vietnamese, which make me an Asian xD Although I sometime want to be a Japanese x3

But really. You can't say I'm lucky yet. I'm only 14 years old. As i grow older, my facial hair might grow faster and more visible. Who know? x3

Have you ever heard of homologous structures? Almost everything we considered sexed has an equivalent in the other sex:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_homologues_of_the_human_reproductive_system

As you can see the Prostate is on that list. And under the influence of estrogen the prostate shrinks and acts more like it's female equivalent (Skene's gland and G spot). As a result I don't think of that tissue as being male at all.

I wish I could have that believe system were I know I pass unconditionally. Of course if I was your young age, anything would be possible.

I have a hard time beliefing you are not a girl, your so young and petite and you say your not on hormones. If you want to remain looking that girly you probably should look into starting hormones, your going to grow out of that look without them.

I remember passing as a kid with a skirt and a scarf over my forced crew cut. Its a little harder now but attitude is certainly important. There are some weird looking women and I prefer not to be too far into that group.

Good luck dear and don't give up hope of being yourself. The world in general is a lot more supportive now. When I was a kid I thought I was the only one. What a sick freak I thought i was. Now I can go on line and know that however hard and freaky I'm not alone.

Hope? I really dont know whether I have hope or not.

You know...

To me, I think teenager year are the best years in a girl's life. And it look like I'm never going to be accepted by my parent during those years...

I'm a suicidal person, yes it true I look happy, but I'm very suicidal. I don't remember exactly how many time I had cutted myself.

I started estrogen (oral) a little before age 50 and not the maximum dose either and also no blockers. It almost immediately accentuated the feminine features I already had, and expanded my already soft areas of skin, widened my hips and distributed more fat to my thighs and increased my breast size. There seem to be some subtle changes to my face too though I doubt I am any more passable than I was a decade ago, it’s just nice to not use breast forms anymore. I haven’t switched to injections as planned and there really hasn’t been much change after the first 6 months and my body fights back; my E levels dropped and T increased even on the same dose so it has not really done much for me. It sounds like injections are the far better way to go, plus progesterone after a while if the doctor will prescribe that.    As is often said, everyone is unique and one’s mileage may vary, and what works for one person may not for another.

This is so sad. The violence in general in Washington State seems to have ramped up a lot, and gender-based violence and hate crimes seem to be worse as well. My parents once lived in Renton but I don’t care for that city and never go there. I don’t think it really matters though as crimes like this can happen anywhere and often are perpetrated by a male who was in a prior relationship with the victim.

I’ve never been in therapy specifically labeled as such, butI think IFS therapy evolved from treatment of dissociative identity disorder in which one’s various alters or parts are treated as an internal family, and each part is like a separate individual who can be spoken to individually or have dialogue with other parts. In a person with full DID, doing that supposedly helps to break down the dissociative barriers that cause that person to not be able to remember what they did for parts of a day or longer. This was the case with me.   Anyone’s mind, though, can be thought of as being compartmentalized to some extent and we all can have an inner child and various aspects of our selves, yet the dissociation is never to a degree that it causes problems like with DID. But the same aspects of working with an internal family or different aspects of self, like the inner child, the rebellious teen, the persecutor parental type, etc, can help heal trauma nonetheless. I think many of us do have sides of us that we don’t like, or others don’t like, and it can be useful to examine how they came about and what purpose they serve as they are often a means of self-protection or coping with anxiety.

We had soup and steamed rice for dinner tonight.  Simple, basic, feed-a-ton-of-people kind of food.  With strawberries for dessert!  We have a huge strawberry patch, so I spent a couple of hours this afternoon picking.  And there's some left over, which I put in the downstairs kitchenette.  Time for a late night snack!     Outside of meals, I mostly live by nibbling on fruit and a few green things.

Well, it is officially summer.  85 degrees outside the last two days, and GF is sick and irritable.  I have to curl up under heavy blankets in my nest, because she's got the AC turned down to the point I expect to see icicles growing on the ceiling.  This is what life is like when your partner is an arctic creature. I should be used to it by now, but just when I think its nice and warm, she has to freeze me.

Been using the wok on the back deck a lot the last few months.  Just got another stock of udon noodles from Amazon and we are using those in the stir fry with onions, peppers and a spicy peanut sauce.  I did this often in the 90's too, but back then I was just using a standard Coleman camp stove instead of this high BTU wok burner.  I've had the burner for a couple years, but haven't been using it regularly until recently.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.
