If the facts are true, this is pure bullying, harassment and mistreatment. The fact that it was done by a teacher makes it all the worse.

As a transwoman this is something that terrifies me. I'd never want someone I care about mistreated because of my medical condition.

Unfortunately teachers are human too and they have their biases and bigotry like all other humans. I always thought it was a teachers job to protect students, not expose them to more bullying and harassment. The woman who did this should be ashamed of herself and clearly has no place working at a high school if she is going to abuse select groups of children over their orientation and variant gender identity.

Sad, awful, heartbreaking.

I wonder if the school knows they a libal for this and could be sued. That student should contact the LGBT and talk to them. Bulling,harasment and any other misconduct by student or staff is prohibitted bu most state laws and they coud be in big trouble

Another news source I viewed on a different forum said that a lawsuit was on its way to the local courthouse, with the district , administration and teacher named as defendants.

Uneducated people doing that, I could understand but...these are the educators. They should know better. They are meant to be unprejudiced, or at least not show it, not...not this. This is...how? How can scum like that get to teach? All they do is pass it on...they just do something like that and the students think it's ifne because a teacher did it..these people are the dregs of humanity.

some teachers are pathetic i had one in grade six that was a biggot. the princepal had a map made were everyones family came from all over the world. my parents came frome germany my parents were born in 1940 and 1942. the teacher said to me i was a monster a murder a war crimnal and cup cakes. i was 11 it hurt alot back then but because of it i learned more about the country were my parents came from and the history going back hundreds of years. i love read about history in general.

The article implies dating, yes, but it more likely was that he was escorting the girl so that both of them had a better fit, and if they were good friends without the sexual innuendo, so much more pleasant an evening. In the past, I escorted women whom I had only a friendship interest in and no sexual or other desire to be with, it was fun. I ended up introducing two of them to their subsequent husbands, and another girl to her future lesbian partner. No risk of STD's to me there.

The teacher who did this is a perverted freak.
