A Restaurant Manager Is Happy I Used The Women's Room---

I had a tiny incident happen this evening that would sure rile up the Anti TG Potty Police if they learned about it, but it would mess them up big time too if the whole thing comes out.

I had gone to dinner at one of my favorite steak restaurants tonight, and of course pigged out on a 20oz T-bone, blood rare, and mesquite grilled with a load of their garlic salt on it that I love. Chasing it down was three big glasses of iced tea. As I am sure people know, Iced tea in, Iced tea out, in short order if you are on Spiro. So as I was getting ready to leave the restaurant, I had to use the women's rest room before driving home.

As I was going in to the rest room, there had been a guy sitting by himself at a table staring in the direction of the women's room. 30 years of field investigation work has made me pretty observant of where I am and what I was doing, so I was aware of his eyes following me toward the rest room door. I am not worried about being read since I have now survived RLE for 9 months in ALL of the possible read scenarios from tiny kids, to teenagers, to church ladies. Its a free country he can look if he wants to .

The restroom has two cubicles, one for the toilet, and one for the wash basin. I was using the wash basin when a nearly 5 year old girl who had been eating with her parents and four of their friends came in without her mother being near. As I started to open the door, the guy who had been watching the door opened it and asked the little girl if she needed help going to the bathroom. Then he saw me standing there. The big old woman he seemingly forgot was in the room. I sweetly asked him if he was a relative of the girl, to which she said NO. He never noticed I was trans, or at least said anything about it. I do make a good substitute for a door when I want to be! I told him the young lady would be just fine without his help a little loudly. The front desk hostess looked our way, and the guy deciced he was through with his night in the restaurant, and hurried out. The hostess had a grim look on her face when I told her what had happened, and she escorted the child back to its parents none the worse for wear. There is a sign in the restaurant reminding parents to keep their eyes on their children at all times, and little miss was fine, but I think Mom and Dad got an earload.

I waited long enough for the hostess to get back and told her I had gotten a good look at the guy, and left my phone number with her, but they do know me as me there anyway. She assured me that she and the other servers will keep their eyes out on who gets the table nearest the restroom.

Here I was, the big evil man-in-a-dress using the womens rest room, and a man in mans clothing was going to help a young girl who is not related to him to use a women's rest room??? Whats wrong with that story. What's right with it. Whats really screwy about it with so many people.

OH Yeah, none of the people worried about trans folk, ever come up with the idea that parents need to keep an eye on their own children, and not send them on their own into dangerous situations. Where were you mom?? Hunched over a Margarita.

I don't go to that place too often, but I will be back there, a 64 year old single woman who likes her meat extra rare.

What a disgusting jerk. Glad you were there to stop him in his tracks. I really, really am.

The problem with the scene is, according to some "Good Americans" of righteous and moral mind, I am also a disgusting jerk!!

Well, if you didn't finish washing your hands :P

Though in seriousness, I don't really understand a lot of hateful things. This guy was going to harm someone. You weren't. Thats the big difference.

No Vicky, you are NOT a jerk, you sensed a danger to the child and acted upon that. I think most of us girls would have done the same thing, just because we choose a different lifestyle doesen't make us devoid of intuition and morals. I thank you for being there for that child.

Rikki...

The girl and her parents were very lucky you were there! Many people would not have intervened.

On another point... extra rare! Wow lol. I like my meat but...

Vicky, I like your style, girl, and your attitude. No one is going to mess with you and come out on top, I can see that. Good for you! That girls parents should have paid for your dinner, even if the cow was still mooing on the plate.

DAMNN!

Vicky - that was totally amazing! Yes, I bet that creep never comes back, and if he ever sees you on the street, he will turn around and go back the other way.

Maternal instincts - they came out. See? You are truly what you are. End of story.

I like my steak barely warm and red in the middle - and with horse radish! Gurrrr - she-wolf at her feed!

Good Job Vicky, you are the walking, breathing truth about trans people. In the time since I have been involved with the trans community I have seen that we are heavily weighted towards decent and caring people. Ignorance is our enemy, knowledge and truth are our weapons to defeat ignorance.

Such a great story Vicky! So many wonderful points! It's too bad there isn't a story like this in the news paper somewhere.

No matter what we see your courage and bravery for what it is. Very inspirational. :) I must add you to my list of Trans heroines and favorite this topic. You have such a big heart to stand up to that creep that way.

*Hugs*

I was a single parent DAD when my youngest daughter was the age of this girl. I often accompanied her as far as the door to the womens room, and learned that there is a way for men to keep eyes out for their female offspring that will not offend or alarm people in the area. I made sure she and her older sister addressed me as dad if anyone was around who might have had a problem with my being there. I did not feel threatened by the goof by any means for myself, but it does not have to be threatening to be invasive.

Children are in more danger because of inattentive parents that ever at the hands or eyes of one of us, especially the folks here.

Nothing in this entire world scares me more than the bathroom i have been full time for almost two years and have my SRS July 2nd. I will go out of my way or not even eat or drink when out on a date because of this fear. I know it is irrational but i have always been the type to fade into the backgroud and do not want to ever be noticed. So until the state of Indiana lets that magicall "F" appear on my drivers license i will always be supper cautious. What you did is Amazing and i applaud you for it i have gone over and over in my mind if i would have had the courage to do that and the answer is always "Maybe".

I'm not going to apologize for this comment because I am a Christian sooo... suppose God made you trans to put you there to save that little girl and this was all part of the plan? I believe He puts people in our paths to help us at certain points in our lives, many of whom we never know or remember.

She may grow up to save many lives or identify the cause for transsexualism! This story has a nice side and made me feel good. Thanks.

My kitty has a litter box, which she uses on occasion.  But she prefers to make me get up to led her out. I could install a "cat door" but I'm afraid it would be used more by the possums and raccoons.  I have had possums in the house more than once - even without one.

Good morning everyone,   It was our first night with our European Boxer and it went well. We got up at 05:30 let him out of the cage and went directly outside to give him a chance to go potty. It has been raining for two days and nights so the grass is soaked and nearly up to his belly. I don’t think he’s ever been outside while it’s raining or wet. I had my rain jacket on and a big brimmed hat as well as rain boots, he just stayed at my feet no matter where we went in the yard. I took him to the previous locations where out daughter’s dog had gone poo, but he just sat at my feet. Once inside and drying him off with a towel. He took a poo right there. So I gathered up his mess, and took him and his poo outside. So right now it’s dog one, trainer zero. Now that the coffee is brewed and I have a cup, he’s chewing on a toy.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Strange that I awoke from a dream dreaming about "being able to pee standing up!"   I know that sounds strange from someone AMAB, but intersex issues have always prevented that.    I wonder what made me dream like that? That was a first! 🤔

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
