"New York" Magazine Article: Transgender Children

I haven't read the entire article, but the first couple of pages look very well done. Yet another major magazine or newspaper article on the TG "phenomenon." Can't help but be beneficial.

I haven't read the whole story yet either, but these stories both put hope in me and make me sad. The hope because there are these parents who decide to allow their child to be their child instead of forcing them to be someone their not, accepting their child. I know of so many parents who are not like that and would never be like that. The sad part is a little bit of jealousy for them knowing and the sadness that my parents might never be like that- through let's focus on the fact that it is amazing that some parents can embrace it and work hard to keep their child happy, despite the fact that this is different than they must have expected.
