Brands of Epilators

I'm sure different people have their own recomendations for epilators but what do you like and why? If you can list a brand, model, and your personal opinions about it, that would be great as the rest of the information can be researched from the internet. Also, if there were any brands or models you really disliked or returned, list those too. It's good to be aware of possible "lemons" out there.

Thanks in advance! I am thinking of buying one but wanted to see what people recommended.

I have the Remington smooth and silky.

It has two different heads and does seem to work fairly good for me.

I got it at Target.

I do wish it was a little more powerful and if I were buying again I would be sure to get one with a light so I could see better how it was doing.

Bed bath and beyond carries the Braun, silk epi model steems to change yearly. I prefer the dry models they dont have the battery in them. the rechergable one limit your use time and are less powerfull imho.

Do epliators hurt, sorry I was going to ask this but the subject of epliators hurt. I recently bought a Philips silk epil epilator but after reading online reviews, am put off using it for months.

I really want to have nice sexy legs for longer, I like it and its makes me feel nice and fem for my boyfriend. I usually shave in the shower twice a week but its a inconvience and I often cut myself and this hurts.

So is it sore? Is it painful? I dream for smooth legs for longer just cant muster the courage

Painful? Oh yes, they're painful... :hairpull: Of course it depends on one's level of pain tolerance, but I've found the back of the thigh just insanely painful. Have to go in small sections there.

I've got a rechargable Braun silk epi I think it's called. It works, but needs multiple passes and still misses some hairs, not sure why. Still better than shaving, for me anyways.

I've been using the Braun Silk Epil for many years. In fact I bought my second one a few years ago because the heads are interchangeable and I now have one set up as an electric shaver for times I'm in a hurry and the other is set up with the epilator. Both are corded, so I never have to worry about charging them up and the cords are long enough not to get in the way. Regarding pain, when you start out, the more little pinchers the better, so spend the extra money for the model with the highest number. But over time, the hairs come out so much easier and the pain drastically reduces. I found underarms to be the most painful location, but I do that now with no difficulty at all. I've used them all over my body back when I needed to, but now it's mostly for legs, arms, and underarms and those are more sparse all the time. Do not use it on your face! I'm sure your electrologist will warn you against plucking facial hairs anyway--at least until you get to the point of only have one or two strays here and there from time to time.

The first time you use it on an area, it can be very painful, but by the 3rd or 4th time, you kind of wonder if it is still working because the pain is almost unnoticeable. So tough it out for the first time, and you will be glad you did. Generally the pain is only there while you are using it, so as soon as you stop the pain stops.

I also use a Braun Silk Epil, it seems to work pretty well, and the light is a great thing to have. I do wish you could just plug it in and use it instead of charging the battery though.

As I read this one, it is only for school bathrooms.  I hope he has signed a bill to triple the number of "security monitors" on the campuses and up their pay considerably, not to mention some other costly stuff.  Only way is for every school employee, to know the birth certificate information of each student by memory which will require 3 additional months of salary for them all.  It appears the enforcement relies on parental reports obtained from their children which opens so much up.  The kids will end up ALL with wet or soiled underwear while the parents go at each other with weapons over "family honor" over false calls based on childish name calling.

I agree. This law is impractical and impossible to evenly enforce without such ridiculous measures in place. What it will do is stigmatize the trans community in Oklahoma and nothing more but ofc, that’s the only point of it.   If I was in that state and needed a restroom, there’s no chance I’d ever step foot in the men’s restroom because of some law. I know I’m not alone in that thinking. This law won’t stand the test of time.

I asked AI to create an image of myself 30 years younger based off my avatar on another site and this was the result:     Wow! I am amazed how close it got my 30 year old face!

Quite true.  The amusing thing about opposites is how similar they can be.   My family left Greece because of the conflict between the communists and the militarists/fascists.

This wouldn't even be a problem if they would just leave us alone.  It is a no-brainer.

OMG.  I'm glad it wasn't worse, and you were able to get on it quickly.  Lots of blood can be scary.

Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma. When there are no workers, then they can shutter the place.

Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

Thank you! I'm out of coffee so I have been drinking hot tea instead. Looking forward to the 1st. It's crazy that we are almost in May. This year has flown by really quick! Good to hear that y'all got to sleep in. Hope you have a good weekend too!

It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!
