[Guest penumbra]

I stand in the dark

Beside me the shadows

Cast by light, but again in the dark

Within it is the darkest of me

And to the grand union of the three

I stand in the dark

With the light I mean to breath

I stand in the dark

Far gone in the shadow

Cast by light, but lost in the dark

Within my truest of me

And forbid the union of the three

I alone in the dark

With the light I failed to emit

I stand in the dark

Forgotten to all but shadow

Cast by light, but always in the dark

Within it the secrets of me

And bled by the union of three

I stand in the dark

With the light I need to see

I stand in the dark

Cast away in a sea of shadow

Cast by light, but set forth in the dark

Within it is the sorrow of me

And abandoned by the union of three

I alone in the dark

With the light I was meant to be
