I Think She Know

so me and my mum were chatting about random stuff and i was disagreeing with a lot and we started to get a little annoyed at each other. i cant remember how it came about, but she said "what are you planning to be a boy or something"

alarms go off in my head, what shall i do?! but i thought id be brave and i said "yes"

and she said "even if your planning to takes years of psychological anaylsis and such"

we left it at that but im not sure if she took me seriously or not cus she asked sarcastically, and me not being sure is the worst feeling in the world right now

any views/comments?

Dear Leo,

I'm afraid that the only advice that I can give is - wait a bit and see. If she thinks that you were in the least bit serious, she will have to bring it up again in the next few days. At this point, if she took you seriously she is thinking about it - time for once is your friend. The more she thinks about it the more she realizes that it is important to you.

Only time will tell, if in a week or so if she hasn't mentioned anything about it - you will have to ask her if she had understood what you had said and knows that you are serious.

Good luck and have courage,

Sally

I actually had that same question thrown out glibly once. I think its actually on your side that she did. At least now its not an entirely foreign idea. And if (you never know with mothers) she gets "stunned" in the future that you're transitioning you can always refer back to it.

And btw, what is the timeline in the U.K.? Start to finish, shortest possible time. Here in the U.S. Its about 2 years for an FtM figuring that the first year is required RLT to be approved to get SRS and the SRS itself if you elect a phallo that has multi stages takes 8 months approx.(assuming you're rich of course.)

I won't try to give you advice on what to say since I'm not in the U.K. and don't want to botch it :P But, one thing is universal:

GOOD LUCK. And I'll be paying attention as you go along so that I can learn.

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
