The Greatest Secret Ignored By Millions

By Sally Michelle Jackson

I have so often heard 'Christian leaders' seemingly horrified by the vilest of all labels to them, that of socialist! It is amazing to me that anyone who has read even part of the New Testament of the Bible, the basis for all ofChristian beliefs, can possibly have missed so much of the teachings of the Christ himself. Yes, the great secret is that Jesus, The Christ was a socialist. The proof is all through the New Testament I have no idea how so many millions of self proclaimed Christians could have missed it. The sermon on the mount was not held at an exclusive resort as a $5,000 a plate fund raiser, it was open to the masses and there was no admission charge. Jesus never asked for any form of payment, insurance or otherwise for healing the sick, he stayed with the people not inside opulent palaces. The famous story of feeding the masses with the fishes and the loafs defies the idea that you should not feed the hungry. I am sorry but I do believe that we as a society are responsible for more than just our own well being, I cannot justify anyone having millions or billions of dollars while other people are starving to death, dieing because they cannot afford any health care or housing – they are our responsibility as human beings not just as Christians.

Nowhere do I find the guidelines of hatred, bigotry and exclusion – Jesus reached out to everyone, regardless of their race, religion or country of origin – if everyone is considered to be a human and all humans are the children of God as Jesus clearly stated then how do we decide which humans are worthy of life. We do not, that was specifically stated in the “Judge not least ye be judged” passage. Jesus was the one who threw the money changers out of the temple and oddly enough they were invited back in and given free reign in the churches that bear his name.

If we are to call ourselves Christians then we need to act in a Christlike manner and as such Capitalism and the Free Market System are not the proper forms of government because they do not treat all humans as equals. Socialism is not a bad word, all societies began as socialist all the way back to prehistoric times, the Indian nations of North America shared the harvest among the agricultural tribes while the bounty of the hunt was shared by the nomadic tribes – that worked very well with a chief whose responsibility was to see that the tribe was feed. That job meant seeing that all was shared fairly and that enough was held back for the lean times that were sure to follow with the changing of the seasons. The problem with socialism is that without an enforcement power man's baser nature takes over – greed and sloth – the two greatest evils on this planet and slowly the utopian society of sharing and working together becomes a chaotic system of everyone competing for larger and larger shares and in a perverted sense of justice the ones who grab the most and deny so many others of their share are admired while those who were capable but did not contribute their share of work are begging for handouts rather than working for them – the class system is born.

The biggest problem with the class system is that the people on the top – those who grabbed the money and the power get to set the rules for all of the people who did their fair share and now are being denied their equal payment while still working just as hard, the people who are unable to do their share for physical or even mental reasons are being thrown together with the ones who could work but simply do not want to and there are too many for the society to support without taking some of the excess from the very rich. The solution is very obvious, most often the simple solution is the best, the ones who have grabbed so very much need to share some of their surplus with those who are working hard but not making enough, to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves and by creating jobs for those who are not working – if you are not working by choice, then you should not be handed a check but for people who need a job there is enough work for everyone – just look at how many people have two jobs to survive as it stands now, the number of multiple income families and just think that if no one had billions, no one would need more than one income for their family because wages would be enough to cover the costs of goods. The costs of goods is determined by the costs of materials, manufacturing, distribution and then of course the profit margin for everyone who is involved starting with the wages of all involved with gathering the materials, turning them into products, selling them to distributors, transporting them to places of sale, selling them and delivering them to the public – most of the actual work is done by people who do not receive huge compensation, however the owners of each business involved do manage to include a rather large share for themselves and their boards of directors. If the profits were distributed just a bit more evenly, the price of the products would drop dramatically.

The problem being is that once you have given such tremendous money or power to anyone it is virtually impossible to take it back. Just try to convince someone who has been making $50,000 a year that under our new system he will be making $4,500 a year but with the adjusted prices of goods returned to a much more realistic amount that it would be the equivalent of $65,000 under the old system – it is hard to do. But the really hard selling point to America's 'First Place Or Die' attitude of pure competition just wait until you tell him that his neighbors will also be making $4,500 a year – “That is not fair because they only made $40,000 before – I just lost $10,000 a year!” The actual fact that he would be better off is immediately offset by the fact that his neighbors would be even better off – he now wants more – the greed prevents this system from working.

We claim to be a Christian nation when it suits our purposes however we are anything but. I propose that since socialism can never work once greed is unleashed and it will always find a way that we find another way to fund the necessary programs to be a country that is not constantly denying basic human rights to its citizens – tax the rich while removing all of their tax shelters and loop holes – they do not need to pay a higher tax rate if they pay the tax on all of their money rather than just that not sheltered and give churches the choice of paying taxes or spending 10% of their annual collections on charity work in their area, after all we are supposed to tithe to the church, why shouldn't they tithe to the welfare of the people – seems like God's work to me.

This simple solution will never happen because it requires the cooperation rather than the competition of everyone involved so perhaps if we could set up a competition with a huge prize for the corporation or individual who gives the most money to feeding, clothing and sheltering the poor, while tending to their health needs – call it the greatest Human of All Time Award and make the trophy so tall that they will need to build a new structure just to house it – maybe that would feed the egos of the people who have to have more – a direct competition, wallet to wallet for a one of a kind trophy – the only one, totally unique, only to be given once. If people will not do the right thing just because it is the right thing then maybe we do have to bribe them.

Love ya,

Sally

Sally, If J. Edgar Hoover heard that idea it would tear his dress! I agree completely with everything you have stated. Greed has gutted our nation to a ghost in less than the span of our lifetimes. We have also allowed that when we traded equality and compassion for all the "feel goods". Even the Jones' backs have been broken. I am just as guilty as the next. Oh the damage done... I fear my shadow government power mongers if we ever should try to take that back on a mass scale. Until then I can only work on the problem one person at a time. Hug. Jody

Sally Jackson, you friggin' A nailed it to the wall, girl, as is your way-gifted wont!

This very message of which you write is, likewise, the same message I'm going to very active promote heretofore. As of my legal name change yesterday, I'm writing and speaking about these very issues. Why? Because, this message of which you speak is THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE humanity can possibly hear now and in the future.

Why?

Because, life on Planet Earth is on a suicide course, and it's humanity's fault. We mature spirtually as a species, or we die, period. If we remain spiritual children, then we deserve to die off as a species too. However, the ruined biosphere and ravaged flora and fauna humanity left in its wake of sin (for that's EXACTLY what it is) are innocent victims.

Here's the deal. We humans, as far as anybody can tell, are the only species on Earth that has the ability to choose how it (we) behave. We choose gain, we die. We choose love, we live. Simple as that. This is no bull. I've paid no attention whatsoever to the upcoming election rhetoric in the USA. I never have. I never will. It's all a crock. No matter who is in office, Business As Usual reigns. Nothing important will change. We will die sooner than later as a species.

Anybody and everybody on these forums who knows and feels these issues to be true, and your soul will resonate strongly in this regard, then they have the responsibility and duty to spread the message and live the message. We, as a species, must come together en mass on the side of live, waylay those who choose greed and "save the day" so to speak.

We must to this peacefully (think The Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., John Lennon) but unitedly and decisively. The ruling powers are behind the scenes. You'll never see them. You'll never know them. They give orders to the kings, queens, emporers, presidents, prime ministers, et cetera, of the world. They are building a worldwide dictatorship that is almost in place and will enslave us all. Think worldwide cup cake Germany.

Lacey, your nuts! I beg to differ. There is a preponderance of evidence that this is so. However, it takes huge effort and determination to do the research, connect the dots and know the truth. Most people don't want to bother. We must bother or perish ... now!

You get the idea.

Rock on, Profoundly Gifted Sally!!!

Peace & Joy :friends::thumbsup::friends: Lacey Lynne

Postscript:

Yeah, I'm back on the soapbox to invect and inveil. Can't help it. I'm on the right track, baby, because I was born this way. Whoowee!

Lacey, I do believe you're right. Anyone would have to be blind and deaf not to know it. Nothing will change except for the worse. Armageddon is coming.

Good morning    On this date in 1972 it was a Saturday. I  made a pledge to love and honor my wife and keep her forsaking all others.  I have kept those vows and here we are celebrating our 52nd anniversary still together.  Still caring for each other through sickness and in health.  Still sharing our lives.   Other than that, it’s another day near the beach.  80 and mostly sunny.     I found a ‘17 GMC Acadia yesterday I want to take a look at.  It’s a bit more than I wanted to spend but it’s doable. Only 69k miles on it, with the low mileage I put on cars these days it probably won’t ever hit 100k if I do beget it.  Low mileage now is  likely because it was a leased car at some point. Those usually get pretty good care and not a lot of miles.  It would be similar in size to my Ford, 7 passenger seating but a more basic trim which is fine.  It only has a 4 cyl engine so potentially rather under powered for a relatively large SUV.  The ford has a 4.0liter 6 which is a bit large for cars these days.  Instead of full time all wheel drive, it apparently has 4 modes, 2, 4, sport (what ever that is, I presume it’s over drive turned off) and anti slip.  It’s probably not going to happen but I am keeping my eyes open for a good deal. The old Ford is just that, an old worn out Ford.  Since I bought the Ford I’ve only put about 10k miles on it in 6 years.  My daughter once had an Acadia, top trim package.  When she was driving back and forth to work close to 100 miles per day and going to Philadelphia every week another 500 or more.  For her the miles added up fast.   still keeping my eyes open.  This is about the right age and size but I was hoping to spend about $2000 less.   Other than that I hope to meet with my minister today about paper topics for my class submission.   Other than that Monday is laundry day so I’ll be doing several loads of laundry today.     I put on a neutral gel nail polish last night.  I tried this before, however, I don’t believe I correctly understood the how to get a good result so I was more careful this time.  All I want it’s to give my bpfinger nails enough strength to grow out just a little and stop tearing.   Well, I need to call to make an urology appointment.   @Birdiei was born in Ohio and until Lamda Legal sued them you could not get a sex change on a birth certificate for any reason.  Now you can.  In South Carolina a name change requires $300 and a form filled out and filed with the clerk of courts.  But a gender change requires a birth certificate with the new gender listed.  I am hoping they will permit gender X eventually but right now the state is too Red to do any such thing.   Willow

I have the problem, that I see myself at 3 maybe 4 on the list. I don't have the self love that I should have.   What does it mean to you?   Kymmie

Seems the stuffy day-centre has swapped out Psychiatric Services and therapy to the local BSA hospital. BSA works closely with the local university and is much more gender accepting than the day-centre. The day-centre's psychiatrist wanted to treat me for gender dysphoria by correcting it. 🙄   I logged into MyChart app at the hospital and updated my preferred name (Birdie) and preferred gender marker for them to use.  I'll try and get a referral for gender therapy at the hospital as well.    Nevada is my place of birth and I found out changing the gender marker on my birth certificate there only requires a letter from a licensed therapist, but a name change still requires a court order.    Changing the gender marker to female would at least be one step in the right direction, then I could renew my ID to state female instead.

Well today by attention wise was downright horrible. My legs can't stay still, can't focus on a project, my mind wanders around a lot, constantly fidgeting, easily distracted, couldn't even tell you what the sermon was about but there was vine on the altar and attention to detail sucks. I have read that it is possible to have BPD and ADHD. My mind even wanders during prayer. If I have both I won't be able to take Adderall because it makes my BPD symptoms worse. I keep having side effects that come up from my 3 traumatic brain injuries.

If it wasn't so *EVIL*, I would have to laugh.  Everyone knows that trans women in particular have such an overwhelming superiority in poetry that the competition would be unfair if they were allowed to enter.  You can't make this stuff up!   Seriously, sorry for making light of it.  But it is only by highlighting the utter absurdity of this kind of crap, whether it occurs in Russia or Florida, that I am able to hang on to any shred of sanity.

I used to fully agree with this statement, that is, until the first lockdown   Everyone I knew around me was affected by the pandemic. they couldn't work. they couldn't see their friends. they felt bored/ frustrated they couldn't get out of the house   and then there was me who welcomed it, because for once in my life, I didn't feel like a loser- and after lockdown, when everyone looked forward to going back to work or going out, well.. I had nothing- and I felt that no, I wasn't normal because I didn't have a life to get back to
