I think Do not use in shower is used on some hair dryers.

And the sad fact is, and as ridiculous as it sounds, that one just might make sense. Someone's last words as they sucomb to electrocution on the shower floor:

"Well, it didn't say 'not to'!"

Never underestimate someone doing something incredibly obvious, even to them, not to do.

Like people jumping off roofs into pools or trying to play catch with a bees hive.

Here's one for you, ''Danger: Do not hold wrong end of Chainsaw''.

Do not stop chain with hands!

(Just incase you were thinking of it).

On to warnings of little interest. Everything contains known carcinogens. An internet sourced warning: "Warning: has been found to cause cancer in laboratory mice." -- On a box of rat poison. Well it's good to know they'll keel over one way or other.

And on pepper spray:

1. Test spray periodically.

That's a good notice, don't assume the pressure is still in there and get a feel for use. I was a meter reader for a few years, I have pepper spray experience.

2. The use of this device for any purpose other than self defense is a crime under the law.

See warning #1, to test periodically, so is it illegal to use or not? How about settling for "don't test in public..."

I should think it would say: "Don't attempt to home!"
