It's a funny story. I shop at Costco a lot. I buy the rotisserie chicken there a few times a week. It's easy, tasty and inexpensive. Every time I would leave I would see the same guy. Sometimes I would say hi and leave and sometimes I would flirt a little. I noticed he started looking at me a little different lately. His smile was a little bigger when he saw me and he started talking more. Holding up the line even.

I went back a lot. Some times buying things I didn't need just to see him and hoping he would ask me out. He never did so I started asking around if anyone thought it would be odd if a girl asked a guy out.. Nobody thought it was weird and we came up with the idea that I would give him my card and let him call me.

I stood in line for a long time waiting to vote. It took way longer than I thought and I knew my dogs were hungry and so was I. I drove right past the Costco and turned around figuring I could just grab the chicken, quick and easy.

I saw him right away. He saw me and he got a huge smile on his face. It was that kinda smile you get when you see a friend you haven't seen for a while. I got really nervous. I didn't bring my preprinted card with my name and number. I stopped and talked with him for a second he asked me if I worked close by. I told him I didn't, but I live close by. He remembered I ran a lab and asked me for my card. I didn't have one so as I was walking, ok floating around Costco I was searching for something to write on. I found a paper towel and wrote my name and phone number.

When I was leaving I wen tup to him, put my hand on his back and gave him the piece of paper. I whispered in his ear, call me.

He did....
