Help with the VA and stuff

Okays so I started living full time at home but not on base. Im active duty marine corps. Home is PA base is NC. I get out in a year. I read the VA directive on trans issues and from what I read they pay for hormones??? What do they all pay for? How long do i have to wait to get on hormones? So many questions.. also i plan to move so do i have to get re evaluated if i move?

Hey, Jessica, from the research I have done is that if you can use the VA then they will provide hormones. The cost is relative to your disabiltity % and/or income. They will provide counseling as well but there is no gaurantee that they have a knowledgable gender therapist in the area you settle though. They wont, however, at this time provide surgery.
