Favorite Time Of Day

My favorite time of day is shower time. Steam the bathroom, jump in when it is nice and hot, shampoo, use liquid soap with a nice scruffy washcloth, use shaving cream and shave down my body as smooth as it gets(always a little stubble left behind ,darn it) then apply skin and face cream which my wife bought me for xmas, hummm! and yummm! Towel off the mirror and p :D ut on fresh underclothing, feels so great. Then open the door to fresh cool air. Feel so complete.

What's your favorite time? Enjoy and share Mia. :D

My favorite time of the day doesn't last very long. It is when you first get into bed and pull the cool sheets around you, that feeling as your body relaxes and feels the support of the mattress from head to toe - aaahahhh!

Then you start trying to adjust the covers and the moment is past -siigggghhhh!

Love ya,

Sally

:P Comin' home after an hour commute - Shuttin' down - off with that other stuff - Hello Momma - welcome back! Especially Fridays - two and a half days free and natural as I really am... ahhhh.

[soakin' baths with salts - hee hee - night time with candles]

[Raiding the fridge - just before bed, in my nightie and bare feets on the cold stone floor - 'nother goody goody time]

[Having Fred the Cat meowwww me (feed me, Seymore) when I first get up - rubs me down like he realllly cares - liar]

[Payday Friday at noon - envelope in my mailbox - we'll eat high on the hog tonight! Enough with the spam jumbalaya...]

[Christmas morning 1980. 5:50 AM - with my young daughter and my infant son - and all the other Christmas mornings as well 'til they left home] :(

[The first snow - early morning - freezing but so beautiful outside. Happens every 35 years or so here... grin - happened this year, I can dream huh]

;) Life is soooooo good sometimes I feel like weeping...

I love the late afternoon/early evening, anytime after 1 PM or so until maybe 5 PM or so. My morning stuff is done, like my workout and errands and stuff. I can be home and if it's the weekend my boyfriend is with me. Maybe I'll go upstairs for a nice nap in clean pink sheets and I go to sleep listening to him doing whatever downstairs, maybe just watching TV or playing with the dog. I'll take an hour nap and wake up and just lay there listening to the lazy sounds from downstairs and outside. I'll get up and maybe take a shower and put on clean girl clothes and then go downstairs. Maybe I'll come here and chat, or read a book or visit with my bf or maybe we will go shopping together. Maybe play the piano or take a walk. I love nice slow afternoons. :)

I like night because it's dark and warm and I feel safe in the covers.

...unless my anxiety problems are bad, and then I pretend to be asleep because the monster will only attack me if I'm awake.

When I was younger I had a lot of stuffed animals and my bed was in the corner, so I would put my most trusted and largest animals between me and the door and slide under the covers from the wall side of the bed and pull them up around me so they would stop anything that tried to get me.

Love ya,

Sally

I still love sliding between cool fresh sheets, I just like it better now in my nightgowns!

My Favorite time of day is first thing, I get out of bed and go down stairs to get my breakfast, take it back to bed and watch telly whilst I enjoy it, then savour about 30minutes of peace and quiet before having to get out of bed and face the day! Weekends are the best of course.! B)

I like the space that is too late to be night and too early to be morning, when the world is asleep. I like the quiet solitude it affords.

I absolutely love the early morning drive to work...

It's in the dark...I go at 6:30...

I drive and listen to the radio...and think of anything that crosses my little mind at that time of morning....

It's quiet and all to myself....

It's wonderful...I just love it...MY TIME!

All alone!..Everyone else is asleep and the world is MINE!

Thank you so much!

Hey Mark Twain used that in Huckelberry Finnn when Huck was trying to sneak downstairs and find out was happening with the Funeral scheduled for the next day..He said" Creeping down the stairs during that time of day when the early folks are still asleep and the late folks have gone to bed."

Hey Mia!!

Another nice one!! Love this topic!! I have two favorite times of the day. Like you, I really enjoy showering and shaving (everywhere), and just smelling good!!! Going out after I am all squeaky clean, and with a beautiful scent, I am good to go with confidence!!! My second, favorite time of the day is in the evening, after work, where I can relax and wear my favorite dress and go online here at Laura's Playground!!!

When I worked on a regular basis I'd get up at 3:30 and drink a cup of coffee and go out for a run or ride my bike with my headlamp...so peaceful no one but the deer ,foxes. skunks owls, and racoons......and the stars and the moon..... :D I loved it..but now I'm up when it gets light very early in summer or after 7:00 in the winter.... My favorite time is sunset, for some reason I feel more at ease after that. Can't quite explain it, most people see sunset as the end of day but I'm like its only chilltime until night time starts up. Perhaps I think too much.

Night, ima vampire! Bwahaha

Looking up into the stars and feeling warm and fuzzy on the inside, similar to the feeling I get from skirts! Lol

In all truthfulness my favorite part of the day is very short - it is that span of time between falling asleep and reaching REM sleep - when the thoughts of the day have all washed away and dreams have yet to begin, that all too short time when your mind is totally at peace.

Love ya,

Sally

happy trans birthday! I can't speak personally on the subject, but I hope hormones bring you the changes you're looking for <3

That’s super healthy, to see that something that becomes common has less effect on you and that you are able to decipher these feelings.   Sadly, this trend tends to only deaden good feelings as we tend not to let bad feelings attenuate the same way.   I have noticed less euphoria, but still feel the dysphorias that I have. Sometimes the good sneaks in and reminds me, but often time it’s just me seeing myself in the mirror and being comfortable about what I see when embracing my realized self. I may not get the same buzz I once did, but I don’t feel incongruous when looking at a more “drab” reflection.    Wishing you strength, you are amazing!

Congratulations! and Happy Trans Birthday @LittleSam! That is such a BIG milestone.  I can still remember walking out of my clinic with my first HRT presciption.  I was on Cloud-9.  Wishing you all the best in the start of your new Journey!

maebe thank you I try to be. I thank God for blessings, try to share them, beg forgiveness for my shortcomings n vow to try to do better...2 priests have said no, God doesn't condemn you just for being trans...but apparently evangelicals do   I shall vtry dear thank you
    • MaeBe
Meet him at the being good to others part of Christianity. At the heart of it, there are excellent tenets of the faith. Those that condemn are judging, Jesus would have us be selfless; stone casting and all that. Are you a good person? Are you putting good into the world? If your gender is an issue for God, let God judge. In the mortal realm, let your actions be heard.
    • missyjo
and just fi sweeten it..I'm catholic n he hasn't been for years..he's evangelical..whatever that is

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.

When I first started figuring things out, I got a lot more euphoria. Every time a friend would use he/they pronouns for me, I'd get this bubbly feeling, and seeing myself look masculine made me really happy. Dysphoric state felt more normal, so I guess I noticed the pain it caused me less.   Now, it's more just that my pronouns and such things feel natural, and dysphoria is a lot stronger -- I know what's natural, so experiencing the opposite is more jarring than everything. The problem is, most of my natural experiences are from friends, and I rarely get properly gendered by strangers, much less by my family. I've found myself unable to bind in months due to aches, colds,, and not wanting to risk damage.    It partially makes me want to go back to the beginning of my journey, because at least then I got full euphoria. I'm pretty sure it'll be like this until I medically transition, or at the very least get top surgery (you know all those trans dudes online with tiny chests? Not me, unfortunately). It's a bit depressing, but at least I know that, eventually, there's a way out of this.
    • RaineOnYourParade
Major mood, right here ^^^    I've listened to Lumineers to a long time (a major portion of it by osmosis via my mom), so that is almost painfully relatable
    • RaineOnYourParade
As for getting a button-up/formal pants suit, you can try to talk to her more -- Cis women in tuxes have worn tuxes in recent years, after all, (for example, Zendaya) so it can still be a relatively safe topic. For jumpsuits, I'd recommend going with a simple one with a blazer, if you can -- this'll make it look overall more masculine. There's a lot of good brands, but going for one without a lot of extra glitz on it will make it look less feminine under a blazer. I don't know many specific brands though since I usually just get my stuff from chain stores, sorry :<   When it comes to your hair, if you can't cut it, you can look up tutorials on fluffing it up instead. If you can pull it off, it can look a lot shorter and more androgynous instead!
