My waist clincher works to hold in what sags when I'm not active. It does well wit5h the front view but the profile still needs the right clothes to mute it.

I don't quite know what "belly fat" means. Is that a male gut? A little baby fat poochie kind of thing? Excess loose skin? I lost 85 pounds in 18 months by going low carb and later joining a fitness program... It really works for F-A-T. I was lucky that my skin wasn't saggy with such a rapid weight loss, 50 pounds of which came off in a few short months. It has left me with a little chest fleshiness which today I don't mind :)

So, if it is overweight"ness", low carb really works! Leglifts and crunches will tighten abdominals, but the layer of fat may persist over the strengthened stomach muscles.

Good luck!

In my case it's a male gut, some fat, and bloating. I used to be fat before my transition and even though I'm sometimes as thin as I want it's very fleeting (I think I had about 24 hours the first and only time I got to that point, and I haven't gotten back to that size since).

After thousands of leg lifts and crunches along with trying a whole range of diets I've found that nothing works for me. I broke down and had lipo done and don't regret it a bit.

I don't recommend it, but the "Stress diet" works wonders. I dropped 41 pounds and weigh about what I did in high school.

Only half kidding - but stress kills my appetite and once you skip a few meals it just gets easier.

I'm now a shade over 6 feet and weigh 171. I can fit into size 5/28 skinny jeans easily.

Guess there is some benefit to stress eh?

If you are happy and your clothes fit - you are the right weight IMHO

Mine is just an old age ponch, at 5' 8' 155 lb. I am fairly healthy. I came down from 220 to 140 using the eat less eat healthier diet, ie salads, not fries, some fruit several times daily, smaller portions but bigger flavours. Maybe if my boobs were bigger I wouldn't look so big tummied.
