Small steps for the new year.

So, I went to see my GP (PHP, MD) today for various things.

(Won’t bore you with the story of the creation of the universe.)

Told my GP that there was no doubt in my mind about professional capabilities and asked my GP if my GP is able to “personally” deal with TG’s.

Came out to my GP about being TG. LP was the only outing I had made so far.

What a relief that was. Won’t say a ton was lifted from my shoulders but at least an ounce (28 grams) lighter feeling.

My GP asked if this was a new “revelation” for me. Told my GP nope, a life long fight denying the fact and I’m tired of fighting it any longer.

Getting a referral to a GT and an Endo. hopefully in Province but I told my GP I have no issues travelling outside the Province if need be. Can’t wait for this to finally happen but not holding my breath over it.

Asked my GP about knowledge of TG and was told another patient of my GP was TG as well.

That was my queue to provide the suicide facts of our community which my GP was un-familiar with and referred my GP to LP if interested in acquiring further information.

Yes I’m intentionally withholding the gender of my GP. (Don’t know why though.)
