Staring Spyro With My E After 8 Months Hrt :)

Well, just a short and sweet note..

My meds have now been modified today by my endo' after 8 months of HRT, I am doing very well just with estrogen alone (microgynon) and my breasts have now reach a middle B cup... and have gained a bit of bum fat lol

Still, I am going to trial spyronolactone (a type of anti-androgen) with it, apparently I have to watch my potassium intake?

I go back to my endo for a checkup in 4 weeks..

Wish me luck! :D:)

Well, you let us know how it goes after your next check up.

It sounds like you are making pretty good progress already.

Listen to Doctor Sally, if your endo said to watch your potassium intake - you watch your potassium intake!

Don't forget to post more landscapes!

Love ya,

Sally

LOL congrats on the caboose  it's always nice when it goes where it's supposed to be.Who'da thunk to watch potassium...I googled potassium rich foods and I guess that would be a way for me to diet half my caloric intake would be removed...I'd probably start looking like a concentration camp victum again in no time at all<sigh>...great news though all around and please, yes, DO keep the pictures forthcoming.Huginahug, Kelly Ann

Love the Squal line!

I'd have to travel for about 7 hours to get to anywhere that had anything close to that scenery - I hope you appreciate the wonderful part of the world you live in!

Love ya,

That pic with the lightning is both awesome and beautiful! I love your photos!

Whoa...watch out for the potassium. I know that too little potassium can cause you to have a heart attack. That's serious stuff!

Your photography takes my breath away - you must keep showing us this grand beauty you find! :o

And secondly, you young people make me jealous with you ability to transition on HRT. :D Congrats on your new regimen - and I am so glad everyone knows you are under supervision. Funny, I have an endochronologist (diabetic) but he doesn't have a clue about how to treat TS. I had to go to an ObGyn as my prescribing physician. He will make me have annual mammograms. True story. :P

I would warn all readers that because one person is told something by a physician, it may not apply across the board. Please be cautious not to make radical changes in your diet without consulting your doctor. YMMV - Your mileage may vary.

Potassium? It is an agent that I understood aggrivates heart problems. But Wikipedia says differently:

Potassium in the diet

Adequate intake can generally be guaranteed by eating a variety of foods containing potassium and deficiency is rare in healthy individuals eating a balanced diet. Foods with high sources of potassium include orange juice, potatoes, bananas, avocados, tomatoes, broccoli, soybeans, brown rice, garlic and apricots, although it is also common in most fruits, vegetables and meats. Diets high in potassium can reduce the risk of hypertension and a potassium deficiency combined with an inadequate thiamine intake has produced heart disease in rats.

So it must be because in the interaction of your new prescription. ;)

I love the photos! I've always loved storm photography.

You should watch the potassium. That's all I'll say so I don't get in trouble for medical advice. But I am a pharmacist. If you do have any questions, ask your local pharmacist.

Admirable profession Jackson. Maybe you should post Laura, P.J. and Mary Ellen and see if you can offer professional advice to our members...................Mia.

That is so woonderful. I hope to start HRT this year but as we all know I need the cash. So I am saving up to get the letter completed. Then off to the Endo. I hope it works as well for me as it does for others. Thank you for sharing.

A bit late in updating, but I've had the draft of the official diagnosis and have (as yet unconfirmed) an endo consultation next month.   Next to arrive will be the supporting documentation for my new passport application for my correct gender.  This will then be my official ID for all the other updates - bank, tax, payroll etc.   It just feels good to to be proactive again rather than waiting for other people to move at a leisurely pace.

I like ELF brand cosmetics, I can pick them up at JC Penny.    I wear makeup everyday, but mostly just very light makeup.

Hi Mae Be, whenever it comes to makeup, there are so many different bands to choose from. Picking out the right makeup comes with trial and error, until you find one that works for you and blends well with your skin tone, some makeup products can leave the skin feeling oily. It's a good idea to look at the labels on the makeup product to know what the creators put in the makeup, just in case skin allergies. Once you found the makeup brand, you can add it to your shopping list, good luck

To be fair I’m pretty lost when it comes to makeup technique. I’ve watched videos, but I have no idea what works for or would help my features. So I just bungle along, hoping I don’t look terrible.
