Hey!!!

I'm Anastasia, an MtF trans! Some call me Anna, some call me Stacey. You choose whatevs you want to call me! B) I've just started work with my therapist; phase one of the transition process as I call it; and I am very fortunate, I'm loved and accepted by the people around me (I was bullied in earlier grades because I was not ever false with who I was) at the moment I am respected and my choice, even more so it feels. All my friends and family feel that if it makes me happy, who gives a flying freak!

I'm a confident person who enjoys using this life to the best of my ability. I am 18 years of age and currently working as a graphic artist for an advertisement close co-orparation; I'm also getting involved in the fasion industry soon. Busy busy busy :) but thats how I like it.

If that's not enough! I'm setting up my own fully operational recording and sound mixing studio (but that's mostly for fun ;))

I'd like to say a few things:

  • This forum is awesome!
  • Are there any other South Africans here or am I the first?
  • This forum is awesome!

Good Evening Anna...In S.A. you would be something like 8-8 1/2 hours ahead, of Eastern Standard Time, if the coffee has started my cranial gears whirring. I'm an early bird...usually sooooo Welcome to Laura's Playground. LOL it sound's like if your not interested in it...it probably hasn't been thought up or invented yet by anybody...or YOU :P go girl go. It's wonderful to hear from a youngster so...erm...restrained, OMGosh you sort of remind me of me 36+ years ago. You'll find LOTS of terrific people, interesting writings and the chatrooms can give you a chance to meet new friends. Theres a refreshment cart here someplace, Donna Jean usually takes care of it...I wander around so much that I can't keep track of it. Have a seat and feel free to jump in on anything that interests you. Shoes are optional...I can't be comfortable with them on. Smiling, Kelly Ann

First, just let me say, Kelly Ann, you make me smile.

Now Anna, about the signature graphic, you might wanna rethink it in every single post you make. I'm imagining it loading 19 times -or trying to- in a thread you really really like and post in several times. Contrary to popular believe everybody is not on cable or even dsl.

Other than that, where do I buy whatever it is you do to make you so "lively"? lol wow Welcome aboard

Well here is your post, looks like a lively one. Probably as shy as Kelly Ann, so hard to get those words out.

Congrats on your early transtion, and your world of fashion lifestyle. You make us all proud you hear.

Keep posting, have something to eat off of our cart and help those in need.

You seem like a positive young woman and able to help those who need it most.............Mia.

P.S. You already have 6 posts so you can send and receive "Post Mail."

Hey Anastasia,

Well I finally got here to welcome you, I see that Donna Jean has brought you some coco and cookies. I have some peach cobbler today if you would like some - go ahead virtual food has no calories at all.

Let's seeSouth Africa is in the middle of the summer and our friends in the United States are in the middle of the hardest Winter on record. But Keely Ann is in Florida, I'm in Texas and Char is in Hawaii, so we are all pretty warm.

You have been greeted by some of the nicest people anywhere, make your self at home you are part of the family now.

Love ya,

Sally

Would you like some ice cream on that cobbler?

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑
    • RaineOnYourParade
My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.
    • RaineOnYourParade
This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.
    • violet r
I been play texas chainsaw massacre game most recently. It free on game pass right now. Just need a good team
    • violet r
Anyone play war and order on their phones?
    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!
