"Young girls do get weary wearing the same old ragged dress" enjoy new clothes as you can. For me adorning my body is a great pleasure esp. when i think i've really got it right. That always seems to change but a fun pursuit!

I love shorts (in England that's short pants not underwear), most of the modern ones I tried on in the shops seem to be very low rise, which is a problem for me as ive got a bit of a belly still going on, so need them a bit higher in the waist - I wanted a pr of denim ones, so I looked through my wardrobe and found a pr of well fitting old jeans I use for gardening and hanging round the house, they were cheap, only £6, but look very stylish, so I cut off the legs down to the knees and put a turnup on them, (that's the latest fashion here) and they look really good - so there we have it a thrifty new pair of shorts. I also went to tk max whilst I was out yesterday and found a great pr of Ralph Lauren Polo pumps - I think you call them sneakers, kids size 5, I have small feet but these make my feet look bigger and they were only £25, which is half the price they would be normally, so I am well pleased cos I also found a zip up sweat shirt for very little money and now I have a whole new outfit to wear to greet my missus when she comes home from Manchester on Sunday.

The funny thing was, instead of sewing the hems on the shorts, I had a bottle of fabric glue from years ago, so I used that, which worked well, but as i'd not used it for years, I squeezed it hard and it splattered all round the room, in my face, all over my spectacles, everywhere..........

Shopping is what its all about. Kohl's, JC Penny, Marshalls, T.J. Max, and many others. I can spend hours and hours shopping for my feminine side. I LOVE It! Amber L.

Oddly enough my wife in her 60's is still shopping for clothes. I think its one of those natural pursuits of man and woman kind. Since we lost most of our fur we've been trying to refine our comfort and look. As a cross dresser i often felt guilty because i was buying for such little use. Now those same clothes get to the laundry and get worn. I now need a bigger closet and its for clothes not me.

Hugs,

Charlie
