A Little Unnerved right now.

Hello All. I was wanting to get advice about something. My grandmaw called today and said someone called her house last night at 11:00 pm asking for my mom at first,but calling her Alana,her name is lana, then was asking if I was there, she said that I was her grandson,but did not live there, she said the number was Blocked, my mamaw called again today saying the same person called again, saying there is something going on that I need to know about, but they wanted my number,they refused to give there number or name. so,what should I do? all the people I know around here( which isnt many) know I do not live there, I keep to myself,I do not go out,me and my wife go get groceries on friday,that is it. it is very strange. I am A little nervous.

It's a scam. They'll pretend to be a relative and then say they desperately need money. Don't fall for it.

Sounds like a SCAM!

That's why answering machines were invented. So you don't have to deal with these things.

Your mamaw did the right thing. Don't give them any information.

Do you live in near proximity of your Grandmother?

Clearly someone is up to something and it is not good.

Your Grandmother should hang up on the person if he calls again.

I do not answer the phone if the ID is BLOCKED or UNKNOWN.

Hello Brenda. my grandmaw lives about 6-8mins away. Im not really sure what it could be. It is strange someone calling her house at 11:00pm at night. they were in bed. They have also kept there number blocked and haven't given there name.

Hey Nikki thats a scam most likely. I've heard about that on the news here in chicago. Dont fall for that crap
