Definitely some helpful things there if you know what to look for, and its nice to just sit and listen to someone sometimes, too.

i have a channel there too for my transition, as it is what got me there in the first place.. but it does give me hope everyday that my transition will be successful, and that ill be happy. I use the voice training help, workouts, and makeup tutorials. although I cant get enough of the timelines!!!!!!!!

I have to say that I haven't really used youtube very much for transgender specific things, but I have found the makeup tutorials to be really useful! :)

you tube has been HUGE for my transition, so i figured i could give back and do the same. i noticed i can relate more to some of the girls there than most, so if its the same for others i can be that person too... and i swear i can only do eyeshadow and contouring bc of the wonderfulness of YT!

Well, I'm not much for webcams I own one but I don't think that I'll be making any youtube videos. My friend is wanting to make a timeline for me in a few months though I haven't really decided if I i'll let him do it or not. Anyways I'm not saying youtube isn't helpful! The makeup tutorials like I said are great, I'd totally not be able to do my eyeliner the way I do it with out it. The timelines are definitely interesting and give a lot of hope, part of the reason I've shared as many pictures as I have here. I definitely think if you can help others through youtube then that's awesome and good on you for wanting to give back a bit on! :)

Hugs,

Sarah

Youtube is definitely helpful. I use it for other things than my transition but there are some fantastic videos relating to trans* people on there. Without it, I wouldn't have known some things like the dangers of testosterone because I'd find it too long to read from a website :P

I really liked the MTF exercise video on YT, I put those routines to practice.

I've found some channels to be extremely helpful. I don't know if I'm allowed to post youtube links, but I'm of the mindset that it's better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission :harhar:

Anyways, my favorite user so far is minorqback:

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UClYPfqVKfanct-9ce77a8Fw

She has some great videos and I personally found them highly inspiring. She hasn't posted in some time though.

There's also casey4441:

http://www.youtube.com/user/casey4441/videos?view=0&flow=grid

I like her videos because she's very honest about a lot of things. Even about things I don't feel I could ever share.

There's also SamanthaZero34:

http://www.youtube.com/user/SamanthaZero34

I like her videos because she makes me laugh sometimes in a good way.

And of course princessjoules:

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT9lRRTBWIqMIfVgSyfsg7Q

She's very silly in her videos, but also way over the top girly.

My personal fav's are Jordans videos (minorqback). While I can't relate because I was never a alpha male or even liked sports at all. Her personality and sense of humor was a huge part of me being able to even deal with me today. Kinda just gave me hope. Sadly she hasn't made a video in a year or so though :(

The transformation ones typically make me cry too. Alot of them are very moving.

There is a lot of great stuff on youtube. One I watched last nite was NARHAGI. An indian film about a Tamil MTF dancer. There are no subtitles but one can see the chalenges of the LGBT community in India.

Without Youtube I would still be lost in the dark ages.

It has been a bounty of useful thought inspiring information.

I cant imagine coming to half the realizations I have without seeing others going through the same struggles.

Youtube will always have a part in who I have become.
