What make-up do you wear?

What make-up do you wear? On a daily basis, I usually wear:

Illamasqua PF240 powder

MAC Fleur blush

Illamasqua Empower eye shadow palette

Illamasqua Precision gel liner

Illamasqua Magnetism lip stick

Illamasqua black pencil as lip liner

I can't wear mascara as my lashes are way too short; I need to get false lashes or extensions. I probably need to get brow liner. My Illamasqua MUA friend says I don't need to contour, although highlighting could be useful.

A lot of my MUA friends say I should get MUA training, as I'm getting quite good. I enjoy making designs around my eyes with my liner.

I wear bare minerals foundation, found that its better on my skin and gives a silkier appearance then the cheaper brands.

For my mascara, eyeliner, and blush they are all Sephora brands, I do also like MAC but right now I'm using Sephora the most. Using a black creme eyeliner I mix the creme with a bit of a water to give the liner a more defined look, really works well for me. :)

I use MAC foundation, and a combination of Rimmel and ELF for everything else. Rimmel and ELF are pretty inexpensive, which is good for experimenting with color and style. I'm eventually going to switch to all MAC.

For lipstick, I really like Revlon Colorstay Overtime. They're a stain and come in a cute package with gloss. These things last forever and don't come off on your wine glass :D wish there were more colors though.

Lid Primer - Urban Decay.

Eye shadow - Stila for my taupe color, Bobbi Brown also has a taupe i just love.

- Smashbox, I love love love their color Fizz. Also some great pinks and nudes and the shadows feel velvety soft.

- Lancome, Pricey, but they do apply smooth and the color is amazing

Liner - Gosh, khol pencils in espresso, black and grey. I use grey the most. It just allows for a softer everyday look while still having strong definition. I also do my liner under my shadow to really

give it the softest look and for my eyes, the best POP!

Mascara - Lancome, Definicils or Virtuose Black Carat. Definicils is my everyday. No clumps and my lashes look miles long. Virtuose for when I want the same length, but really full looking lashes.

Blush - Nars, Orgasm. I love this. I feel radiant when I have it on.

Kay, if you like MAC, you'll LOVE Illamasqua! Their eye shadow is amazingly pigmented, their eye liner is pitch black, their lipstick is rich, and their foundation is great at a flawless look. And they're one of the few brands that still do glitter eye shadow.

My good friend and fellow tgirl, Drew-Ashlyn Cunningham, is one of their star make-up artists.

Once my MAC Fleur blush runs out, I'll replace it with Illamasqua's Tweak

Hi,

Loreal Nude Magique redness reducing foundation on some red bits.

Loreal Nude Magique anti fatigue foundation on the non red bits.

Rimmel Stay Matt powder sometimes.

Rimmel blush sometimes.

Rimmel Pulsating purple nail polish on the toes. (My absolute fav - no contest) :)

Sally Hansen Diamond Shine on the finger nails.

Maybeline 148 summer pink lippy.

NYC city curls mascara - stole it from my SO

Hugs

Rachel

That *might* only be available overseas, but I could be wrong.

I swear by NARS "Orgasm" blush. It's pretty and it's flattering and it looks great! Lots of different beauty sources recommend it for a blush because it's complimentary on most skin tones. That was my first high end makeup purchase and I feel it's money well spent and much better than some of the other brands like CoverGirl, Revlon and L'Oreal.

Today I'm wearing:

Face: Illamasqua PF240 powder and MAC Fleur blush
Eyes: Illamasqua Precision gel liner, Slick on entire eye, Synth overlaid on inner corner, Fervent on brow bone
Lips: Illamasqua Magnetism lined with black pencil

I'm the glam goth TS queen!

I'll wear my fierce make-up, my tight leather jacket, tight black tees, tight jeans, and my knee-high 6.5" stiletto boots at LAX airport. Hot or not?

(Once again, false lashes would complete the look and make my eyes pop like fireworks!)

As a modest old girl i couldn't pull that stuff off. Not to mention my wife would call the fashion police. Sounds like fun but i chose to fade a bit more into the background using the makeup saying...'blend, blend and blend'. But to each their own!

Hugs,

Charlie

Funny, all my friends tell me "Subtle and natural is just not you...you can't do it. Dramatic and striking suits you."

Quite true.  The amusing thing about opposites is how similar they can be.   My family left Greece because of the conflict between the communists and the militarists/fascists.

This wouldn't even be a problem if they would just leave us alone.  It is a no-brainer.

OMG.  I'm glad it wasn't worse, and you were able to get on it quickly.  Lots of blood can be scary.

Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma. When there are no workers, then they can shutter the place.

Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

Isaac Asimov, Albert Einstein and Robert Kennedy, in that order.

Thank you! I'm out of coffee so I have been drinking hot tea instead. Looking forward to the 1st. It's crazy that we are almost in May. This year has flown by really quick! Good to hear that y'all got to sleep in. Hope you have a good weekend too!
    • Ashley0616
It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!

Congratulations Sam,   The common saying her once someone starts HRT is: “Enjoy the ride.”   Best wishes, stay positive and motivated    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.
