Hmm...you sure know a lot, Sally!

Never really accused of that by any of my teachers, but thanks - a lot of it comes with age, experience is a great teacher.

And Evan, now I've got that song running through my mind, "Friendly neighborhood Spiderman", AArrrggghhhh!

So this is for you Evan, Sweetie,

Love ya,

Sally

As for best superhero Id say BATMAN from DC, Captain America from Marvel, I dont know about the other comic book companies.

As for the Best Super villains Id say the best from DC Has to Be the JOKER, From Marvel i'd say Mephisto (the devil)

Hahaha, Tuxedo Mask; from Sailor Moon XD because he can jump over buildings in a tuxedo. And throw roses to both explode things, and be a ladykiller ;)

That, or Batman. Rich, cool gadgets, fast car and nothing too mutated... very cool.

About villains, it was Sir Arthur Canon Doyle who wrote sherlock Holmes remarking, "A man is judged by the enemies he keeps, I am proud to have Dr. Moriarty."

Love ya,

Martyr...formally Quasar (female version) Google her she's VERY cool, and we have yet to see the extent of her new powers.

on top of that, she's a lesbian... so it fits me in more ways than one LMAO

Hero or villain? How 'bout morally grey mercenary?

I wanna be Deadpool, Merc with a Mouth! I will randomly stab people, hang out with/terrorize Bob, Agent of HYDRA (Hail HYDRA!), and do thing for the sake of being annoying. Also? Healing factor on the same scale as Wolverine's. What's not to love? (I suppose the 'insanity and cancer' would be a bit of a downer, though...)

If I had to choose a clear cut hero or villain, I would probably be Cable (time traveling mutant messiah.) And no, I am not just saying that because he was teamed with Deadpool.

I have to list a bunch because I go into categories.

Villainess I would be would be Linda Friitawa aka Fright from Batman. She is my favorite villainess.

My favorite villain who I would have fun being is Jonathan Crane. Disturbing considerign that I would like to be his female love interest when it comes to being female but really... It just shows that I like the idea of working with fear and being a mad scientist. I like the idea of making my own power.

Female hero: Well... She isn't a hero but I would love to be Death from the Sandman series. Well, either death or delirium. Delirium is fun and I love how she talks. Plus, they are both gods with fairly good intentions and just do their jobs. Death is a very nice person once you get to know her. :)

Male Hero: Male hero is an interesting one. I am tempted to say Dream but i don't think he would suit me even though I like his style. I would pick Batman but I don't like being too noticed.... -head walls- Why is this so hard... I pick Roschach, I love the anti hero and it would be fun.

Dumbledore. He totally counts. He's also wise and sage, and he has learning experiences ("for the greater good" ring a bell?). He has powers Voldemort would only dream of, and he managed to face his own demons and love interest to rise above Grindelwald and fight him. I think that makes him a hero. I'd also want to be him long before Harry's time, like when he was a man in his young twenties, so he still has a long way to go. :D I think I just out nerded myself.

What? No one has mentioned Nightcrawler yet? My god, to be that limber, and that tail....... The whole teleport thing would just be a wonderful bonus.

But for a female hero, how about the newer speedy. Mia Derden. (Think I got the last name right.) A one time hooker, who has HIV but still has the strength to go out there and fight the good fight, not just sit to the side and waste away in depression. That and she hangs out with the Green Arrow.

Villains..... hmmm I can't put Catwoman here, she dances over the line good and evil all the time. How about Fatality, the lantern killer from the Green lanterns? I know she's back and good now, but still, when she murdered she rocked.

And a male villain, Joker. No reason to do anything, other then it was funny to him. But I am a fan of the Joker from the cartoon in the 90's. Mark Hammil.

She's my favorite character in the star wars universe (along with Darth Talon-another Twe'lik) She's in a ton of the original comics (trades) about the clone wars (not the kiddie series).

No special powers, just a totally psychotic in a really sexy and endearing sort of way. ^_^

Umm...pretend I can and did fix that typo....should have read "just totally psychotic", not "just a totally psychotic.

Ahhh, well. For an old comic book geek like me, this is a hard one. My weakness for fawning evil and a really cute costume makes me go with Harley Quinn. But I'd rather be Jean Grey/Phoenix all things being equal.

Illyana Rasputin from "New Mutants", Dazzler from "Dazzler" (was I the only person who bought all 50 issues?), Kitty Pryde and Rogue from X-men.

and Promethea- I loved that comic.

and, on a bad day, Milk from "Milk and Cheese".

I read about her this morning. What a shame! She was beautiful and it seems she had a strong support system in place and could have had a wonderful life all to have it end like this. Such a waste. I truly hope the monster that killed her gets everything he deserves.

I am so glad you enjoy them as well. The help things “stay put” so well. It got me through some of my most dysphoric times.   Wow, I hadn’t heard this at last week’s Zoom meeting if you had mentioned it. That is a huge milestone April Marie.I have no doubt that this confidence will only grow in time. The freedom of being yourself, especially in public, is a wonderful feeling. I am truly happy for you.😘   *Big Congratulatory Hug* Susan R🌷

@Abigail Genevieve, that is not an appropriate question, IMO.  This isn't the Army/McCarthy hearings.   Carolyn Marie

Don't think Americans would go for the "compulsory" part. We kind of like not being told what to do ... Amazingly, there is great pushback on voter ID laws. The opponents say it discourages voting, especially among the poor and minorities. That is really a smokescreen IMO for those who want to harvest ballots from as many places as possible, including folks who don't exist or don't hold citizenship...

Pretty soon I think I might be ready to talk about gender-affirming care for kids, possibly w/r/t the Cass Review and its shortcomings.

She was a beautiful young woman ...   "What we do know is that the offender was a very violent individual and should not have been on our streets.”  Whether gender related or not, the mental health and incarceration issues in our country are incredibly bad and need to be addressed.

April,   I'm glad my entries are interesting to you.  TransCentralPA is a great organization with so many caring people.  I would strongly recommend you find a way to attend the Keystone Conference.  I guarantee you'll find it an amazing experience.     Hugs,   Sally

Dear @Sally Stone.  I think you should author a memoir based on these posts (maybe you're already working towards that?).  You could decide at a later time if/when you might want to publish.   I appreciate you sharing your deep connection with your friend Willa (and I am sorry for your loss) and the benefit of having a Trans friend and mentor in our Life and Journey.  I was fortunate to have found one also in our TGP friend @Kasumi63.   As you know we share many common Life themes in our stories.  Drop me a PM if you'd like to chat about it.  Looking forward to the next 'chapter'.

Voting is compulsory here, for better or worse. Would doing the same in the US snap people out of their apathy?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am noting you use CRT terminology.  The comment is not out of the blue.  Some of your remarks on religion suggest atheism.  So it is believable that you are a Marxist, knowingly or not.  Are you?
