9 Weeks on T, but only minimal changes...?

Hi, so I've been on a half dose-- standard starting dose though I think--? of T for just over 9 weeks now. (IM injection)

and I feel like I haven't experienced very many changes at all.

My voice has maybe gotten very slightly deeper.

My body shape has gotten maybe very slightly more masculine.

I've been working out so my arms are looking pretty good.

and I'm starting to see a little bit more body hair-- mostly just starting of a happy trail, which makes me kind of happy, indeed.

I've been perusing youtube to check out some of my trans*bro's vlogs and I feel like every single one of the 10 or so that I watched at their 9 week mark were significantly ahead of me in terms of masculinity and the magnitude of the changes they've experienced.

For a little while I was worried that I was somehow doing my shot wrong (I wasn't) and the T was just disappearing-- but my levels are actually within target range.

but now I'm worrying that I have like a partial androgen insensitivity or something?

and I mean I'm probably worrying about nothing.

but I don't pass at all still.

It's depressing.

9 weeks isn't long at all. Don't worry.

Some of the video I have seen, in my view many of the early, fast changes were in some ways a combination of effects some of which were changes in attitude and presentation that weren't really hormone related.

Now the guys I know in person, their effects were slower but none the less profound over the period of a few years.

Hormones aren't magic. While some may experience faster changes, it often can take longer. Give it time, don't worry.

It took me from age 14 when exactly ONE whisker developed untl age 25 to fully get my (unwanted) masculinization completed. It was nearly a year before the second whisker came along to join the first one. 9 weeks is not going to do much that you can see, but your attitude toward life can carry you forward if the old bod seems a little slow.

That's pretty normal, my doctor started me on a full dose - my hormone levels were pretty high when I had bloodwork done at my 3 month mark, and I had to reduce my T. Even with my T levels being so high it's not like I experienced a significant amount of changes in the 1st 2 months. Being that I'm not all that skinny, I could tell my face was starting to thin out a little. I noticed more body hair and my voice dropped. I also started developing random little dark facial hairs. It's going to take a while, just hang in there. Every guy changes in different ways in different order at different rates. It all depends on your genetics and T levels.

dont worry just yet, 9 weeks really isn't long when it comes to hormonal developlment. But i'm sure i'll be just as bad as as you, if not worse, feeling like I'm forever waiting for changes. Too eager to grow that beard!

Its puberty, everybody goes through at different rates. But you look great.

A lot of the time you don't recognize the changes because you're always around you. If you want to figure out if you've had any voice changes, record some audio of yourself now and compare it against something from before you started testosterone. Take pictures of yourself from the same angle frequently. Not a whole lot happens that's physically obvious in the first few months usually.
