Given past behavior, I predict some fake instances of "abuse of the system" on the horizon. Luckily, there seems plenty of good folk on the lookout.

I am trying to imagine a normal cis gender male child pretending to be transgender just to go into a girls bathroom.

Do these adults really think there is a kid in the student body brave enough to risk being labeled "transgender" for some sort of bathroom peep show? I dont think so, reputations are to important to lose over something like that, the risk of that label sticking and being taunted just like the real transgender kids is way to high.

I hardly think a "normal" child is willing to bare the transgender label for the sake of some perverse childish kicks, when so many of the real transgender kids wont even admit it to themselves much less a school principle.

As Carolyn states I am sure there will be some cases of shill abuse to try and score political points but the premise of the whole argument falls flat on its face regardless.

Like the reports manufactured by that PJI group? (link from the article: http://equalitymatters.org/blog/201312290001)

As for the whole peep-show thing, as is pointed out in the article (and as was pointed out to objectors before the bill was even passed), the hurdles to cis kids using this as a way to use the bathroom are going to prevent that. Besides, in this era of cell-phones that can stream video (and probably be remote-controlled, it seems far more likely that peeping toms would be breaking wire-tap laws to see what they want to see.
