just a quick question im transgendered and my doctor also thinks i might be intersex and has referred me to the gender clinch for both

i was just wondering should i get the intersex investigation tested first

It certainly could be interesting to get the testing done but i would think if it is a necessity the doctor or the clinic will let you know.

If the MD will order the test and cover the cost, it could be interesting and getting as much info as early as possible is rarely a bad thing. If not covered though, it isn't something I'd spend my money on out of pocket.

Just to clarify since I can't go back and edit. The above is how I would do it based on the premise that how I was going to live my life going forward wouldn't matter if the test went one way or the other. If could have implications as far as HRT or surgeries, but that's info the medical team needs.

In the WPATH SOC7, people with Disorders of Sexual Development (DSD's) "formerly known as Intersexuality" may have a little different treatment path if your health care systems pays attention to that document!! Most of what it talks about is moot to you since your therapist / doctor has declared that you ARE Transgender, but could have sped up his determination of that condition.
