How can I make myself look androgynous?

So, I asked this earlier on the MTF forum and I'm sorry to ask again but I feel like this may be a different and better way to ask my question. I would like to start being more androgynous but I don't know what I can do. I'd love to thin or arch my eyebrows but I feel like I would mess up. What type of clothes should I wear? Should I try makeup and if so what type? My hair a little passed my shoulders in the back and sort of just down to my nose in the front if that makes sense. That's just how it grows I guess. What can I do to my hair? Again I'm really sorry for asking this so many times but I'm really desperate and I feel bad for doing it. I still do really appreciate the other replies I got on my first question about this in the MTF forum. Thank you all soo very much you're amazing! :) I appreciate anyone who helps me in this one as well. Everyone here has been so kind to me and is always helping which makes you all wonderful people.

You can get your eyebrows waxed if you don't trust yourself with a pair of tweezers. After that, you can probably pluck hair growing back in since it will be easier to spot in relation to the desired shape of your brows.

Your hair seems like it would be fine for your purposes. Pinterest is a good place to go for hairstyle inspiration and easy tips. If you feel safe wearing clothing from the womens section, I'd say go for it. Particularly casual tops and pants. As long as you're not going out in over-the-top clothing like skirts and low-cut tops nobody's really going to think much of it. Fiance/e's default street clothes come from the women's section and nobody has given them trouble in public.

I would recommend you invest in a belt because...well. Unless you tuck, you'll be very uncomfortable unless you buy jeans a size or two larger.

Wear jeans and tees. . Pretty andro. I had male shirts that were cut not so different from my womens ones apart from the chest. I have jeans the same, fit really well but had a bit more room in the front. Soon enough you will be passed the andro look anyway... I was completely male failing in guys clothes.

Don't do your brows, go to a salon and get them shaped. You can then tweeze a few strays here and there but it is better to get them done every couple of weeks. I have said on here before, some shapes are unachievable, or wouldn't suit some faces. I wax people all the time but I still go to a salon to get mine done. As do most other therapists I speak too.I also love a tint. Really brings out the eyes.

Hi Pinkie,

There are some great suggestions here for you from members.

It's important to get a feel for what you like and for the types of dress, cosmetics, hairstyles with which you feel comfortable.

It makes sense to try a few different changes, even gradual changes and to then see how you feel. Taking smaller risks, initially, may give you the confidence to then take further risks in more overtly expressing your own unique style. You will eventually adjust your style to best express yourself as you experiment and as you experience changes.

I have found it very helpful to also take a look at fashion sites/magazines. I often do not see the style I prefer in my immediate surroundings, yet learn more about what's available via looking beyond my immediate environment.

While its often helpful to obtain suggestions, this is also a prime time to gain a greater awareness of yourself, your own identity, as well as trying things for yourself and getting a deep feel for who you are and how you'd like to express yourself!

Just relax and have fun with your self expression!

In Celebration of You,

Brad

Seems like they caught him pumping gasoline onto a political fire for sure.  I do think that for the time being he has been cooled down a bit.

I am not completely sure what you mean here.  To be "held responsible" means that they have been investigated and brought to justice by any number of legal and financial means.  That would be a good thing, and has been done recently in a case for slander and libel where the organization agreed to pay its victims many millions of dollars.  In that case the victims were NOT Trans, but the platform was "held responsible". If you mean simply "found to be responsible" by evidence obtained from various credible sources, then of course there are options for the victims to pursue to "hold them responsible" in monetary or terms of personal freedom of the officers.  There are many such organizations that do foster hatred of our community and we have taken different forms of action which includes exposing their hatred and intentions to other public media.  It is not a "what if" the groups do this, it is done regularly.  As long as they are deemed to be private and not government supported, the best we can do is avoid such places.  If the site is Government Supported, then there is a chain of legal events that one or many legal organizations that support the Trans Community can bring actions to have corrected via the Courts or other agencies as dictated by law.

Florida’s LGBTQ+ residents relieved after easing of DeSantis’s anti-gay laws Past 12 months show evidence of radical change in political climate, starting with judge again allowing children at drag shows. Leaders of Florida’s much-embattled LGBTQ+ communities say the worst of Governor Ron DeSantis’s three-year onslaught against them may be over, with the official start of Pride month celebrations only days away. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/may/27/florida-lgbt-law-ron-desantis

I have four purses. A Coach purse being the only big-name brand but it's not in great shape. I might get another Coach purse because I like their design.

Happy Memorial day. As a veteran of the armed forces. I know the sacrifice that has been given by others like me. Each and every service member signs the check up to and including my life, payable to the Untied States of America. Some have had this check cashed, either in battle or because of it. Today we honor those men and woman.   It is sad that some people just think it is a extra day off to raise hell and get drunk.   Today I honor my father and brother in law, two uncles, and all of those I have met while in uniform, who have passed.     Hugs to all.   Kymmie

I always hated wearing hats but am finding some new love for them now, especially with longer hair to try to control.

Hats can be fun.  A nice sun hat with a wide brim.  You gotta watch out in the wind though.

The tornados made our news here. Death toll 18 so far? Yikes. It seems like the USA is infamous for them, unfortunately. Stay safe, y'all.   Public holidays to revere our veterans and war dead are sacred. Our equivalent is ANZAC Day on April 25th each year. To those who served, THANK YOU.

Good morning everyone,   Yes, @awkward-yet-sweet it was very strong weather day down South and in the Midwest. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they recover. It’s also good to hear that you and yours are doing well too.    My day started early as Parker needed to go outside to do his business and potty. Since it was dawn and flag etiquette requires all USA 🇺🇸 flags to be flown at half staff from sunrise until noon in honor of our fallen veterans, I took care of my flag. I fly it 24/7 on a lighted pole following the www.starsandstripesdaily.org guidance.    Later today we will be gathering at our son’s house for a cookout. Other family members will be bringing their dogs to be introduced and socializing with Parker.    Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Emotional happiness, or happiness, is an emotional state that can be characterized by feelings of joy, contentment, fulfillment, and satisfaction. It can also be described as a positive evaluation of one's life and accomplishments, or as the presence of positive emotions and the absence of negative emotions. In scientific literature, happiness is sometimes referred to as hedonia.
