CD-friendly restaurants, clubs in American midwest?

Hi all--

I'm a weekend-and-bedroom-only CD, but my partner and I would like to expand a bit. We'd like to find a CD-friendly restaurant or club in Kansas City, Lawrence, Omaha, Des Moines, or some other not-too-far-away city, someplace where a pair of first-time-in-public people could feel comfortable (or at least not too unwelcome).

Can anyone suggest restaurants or clubs in those cities?

Hello, hon. Laura's has a resource page with organizations listed by state. There is a cross dresser org in Kansas on this list:

Such groups are the safest way to approach outings to clubs, restaurants and bars. They know which are supportive, and going as a group is just safer and more enjoyable than going alone or as a pair. Hopefully, some folks from that region will have more specific suggestions.
